So after all these years of use I've decided to make my PS in to stunt V2, or at least as close as I can, I may do it but keep it clean with no weathering..I'm not great at weathering. I will be putting the original Hero Tier Guts back in, But with a clamp switch set instead. I can't find a Knurled cone Knob so I decided to use a SF old kill key to Sub for it and kinda of keep most of it SF. so here is Mock up Pict 1.

Looking good so far. You going to strip the copper/black off the neck? Or have more of a hybrid?

And as far as the V2 goes, you could easily just get away with flat black for the weathering (since that's basically what's on the movie version). Put a silvered LED housing in there and maybe hit the lens with some reflective material to improve brightness?

I had considered doing the same thing for a V2 version that was duel capable. Im just not a big fan of the LED placement in the SF thin necks, which is the only reason I haven't pulled the trigger on one. I'll be watching this thread, it may just push me over the edge to do the same thing.

Some further weathering of emitter, blade plug, reshaped the Tri-ring into a D-ring, Waiting on hitting SF finish of grenade and neck section with steel wool until I'm happy with everything else. now I'm waiting on my Graflex shop clamp to do anything further.

I did, but doesn't directly fit, I had to spend a lot of time modding it to fit, had to cut it down and I loped off some of the enternal side of the PS to allow it to fit.

Great job on this custom. I really like the weathering job you did. Plus, the clamp looks great, I like the D-Ring and the emitter with that plug looks killer.

AWESOME DUDE!

Quick question - where'd you find the cone knob (SH?) I need to pick one up for almost the exact some project :-)

You went with the TGS clamp? no stamp looks like. Any reason on the TGS over the Romans?

http://shpws.me/FOOe . I had it made in nickel here, and the clamp was left over from a 2.0 kit, the roman props one is on my Flex and does have the logo, the TGS one I ordered has not been released yet, so waiting on it, also has the logo.

Also found this for the knob. ebay item 252899071227 and 322547350218

it's inside the hilt, have to drop the all in one chassis out a hair to access it, it wasn't my first choice, but one I can live with, I'm using a c-ring in the top side of the hilt to hold the chassis tight when the pommel is screwed on, and the C-ring gap also guides the heat shrink tubed wires up down so they don't bunch. I'm tired tonight, i'll add some pictures tomorrow or Sunday.

Spent a few minutes tonight making the blade, 7/8 blade tube adapted to 1inch, I used my air brush to spray the lens chrome and used a silver led heat sink, and Mylar in the neck, using a x4 green/green main white/white foc. I think its my brightest thin neck. going to finalize internals tomorrow (picts to come)

the adaption of the 7/8 to one inch.

Will be later in the summer but anxious to start Brax's PS V2 conversion and my SH V2. Might end up doing them in parallel if all the parts come in round the same time.

Really love how yours turned out. Going to do g/g/g/w for the PS V2 and probably modify the lens to increase the brightness even more.

Is yours a crystal reveal?
