The finished product will have a dissident handle with a brown leather wrap, but I'm still waiting on the handle and the leather to be delivered. Right now I've modified the juggernaut pommel to be more accurate. I blackened the insets, drilled the pommel and added the female end of some gun metal cutler screws. I may add some silver screws to the center.

I drilled through the box into the hilt so I could fit the RCP and cut 2 triangular holes in the switch side. The box has just enough room left for 2 5mm LEDs to light the triangles and I drilled random holes in the cover for more reveal. The box will have alternating red and blue lighting. Also I added a small knurled greeblie. On to etching.

Darth Squidious Offline Elite Member Posts: 314 Thank you received: 126	I decided on the dissident body to a couple of reasons, I like the length, I wanted a slimmer look and it was in stock. Finished the etching last night and wired up the control box. It took every ounce of cram-fu I could manage but I got it in there. In a rare moment of brevity my wife added "that's what she said"

My plan is to install this with an RGB and a Prizm. So I needed a place to put the RCP since I'll be using both switch holes, the control box just seemed to be the right spot. I've also added a black plastic switch to the back side of the box to finish off the ROTJ inspirations. The triangle holes are filled with clear epoxy and everything appears to work as intended. Waiting on the body from SF and a chassis from shapeways .

The body will get a similar sith-y rune etch and my own brown leather wrap, I'm debating between a standard wrap for accuracy or a hex wrap (similar to a basket weave) for looks. Any opinions?
