Ok I did a search first and came up empty. Is there a place on the forum to find disassembly instructions for SF sabers? I am thinking of doing a private purchase of a Prodigal Son but it had a blue LED. I have. SF lime green that I want to install but I don't want to damage the saber getting it apart.

Thanks in advance for any direction that anyone can provide!!

To get to the LED in the Prodigal Son, you should only have to unscrew the thin neck section from the ribbed grip section. SF uses Lock Tite (or something equivalent) on their threads, so you may have to loosen the bond with some heat (either from a hair dyer or heat gun).

Excellent, exactly the type of answer I was looking for. One more question, has anyone ever installed real arrow led's in the switch box?

I don't know if anyone here has done it to a SF Prodigal Son, but I've seen it done in other Luke ROTJ replicas, so it could be done. I imagine you'd have to drill another hole inside the box to run the wires (unless you aren't using the hole for the recharge port), and then either seal the ends of box or somehow isolate the LEDs to prevent light from escaping.
