My theory (I emphasize the word "Theory") here....I bet they are using the SF keys as either 1) a cost cutting measure or 2) they found a new supplier or started making their own keys so the keys don't prevent sabers from shipping. I know they went on backorder a few times with the older keys and I'm betting this way they can keep shipping sabers without waiting on the older keys.
