@=Ottomatix=, if you've money going there it's your business to know. If you feel I was pushing to make things negative you're wrong. Genuinely curious, to know if the company is stable, not who is saying what behind anothers back. Just said that to clarify not be snarky, sorry if it comes off that way. I seriously doubt Brax would say a thing, it was meant as a joke. I suck a net communication.

Other than saying I too am sorry to see him go, this is all I have to add.

We tend to change jobs/careers more often in our 20s and early 30s (on average) than at any time in our working lives. So, a certain amount of turn-over in a business with so many younger employees is not a huge revelation. Add to that, the fact that the saber business itself is still a relatively new industry where change is happening fast. You put these things together, and the degree of turn-over is not really unusual. What makes it different in these cases is that so many of us have a connection to them, whether personal, or professional, and when that connection is suddenly severed, we feel it. Totally understandable. However, we should not interpret these events as anything inherently negative.

People move on, and whenever that happens in my life, I take the opportunity to wish them well, and hope that things work out for them. We also hope that Saberforge will adjust, bring in (or cultivate) new talent, and keep on putting out great sabers.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Hello Everyone,

I may be late to this conversation but the news broke just as I went offline (even I have to sleep at some point).
I never had the pleasure of conversing or working with Mr Polachek, but did have the pleasure of seeing some of his (and his team's) work on various sites and threads here on the forum. (BZArcher's Night Thorn, OvrcAHst's recent acquisitions and the custom black powder-coated Vengeance to name but a few)

His work inspired me to want to build at least one saber in my lifetime, and has fuelled my designs on the ASP Builder, albeit a skill nowhere near to his level.

So as with the departure of Knytiri, I would like to pass on my thanks to Mr Polachek and wish him well in whatever he goes on to do.

May the Force Be With You Mr Polachek,

For Tyeth

SuUpberSith I was making a general statement and wasn't suggesting anything you had posted was out of line, or negative.. Perhaps I didn't clarify my statement well. We're good, no beef with you. MTFBWY

Wow, that is quite sad but I hope this will be the best for him. It's true that people can quit for personal reasons. I quit my job about a month ago and left on good terms (good company, I just wanted to do something different). It does happen.

Justin has had a number of personal challenges that struck within close proximity of each other. If he feels that he needs to step back that's his prerogative. I'll miss him, he is a great person who needs space and time to figure things out.

Although I came into the Sabre thing too late to have had any dealings with Justin, I understand he is a well respected sabresmith, and I wish him the best to meet all the challenges that life throws in his path with integrity and fortitude.
