I'm quite tempted to take an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel to mine. I need to redo the weathering on it anyway.

Oh, and fyi... the whole saber is a shroud, basically lol. The "saber" is just the ribbed black tube underneath. Both the top and bottom shrouds are removable; the bottom one is held on via the covertec and the top by the screws in the faux control box.
