I love the Monarch. I have 2 Monarchs on order from Etsy, but I REALLY wanted a Monarch that didn't have a crystal chamber, so I could use it for sparring or aggressive choreography in a video project, without worrying about an accidental strike on the crystal chamber. I asked Justin if he could make me a hilt that had the Monarch shroud/emitter style, but had a solid inner upper hilt. I also asked him if he could do a wrapped lower hilt. Justin created exactly what I asked him for. The leather grip is extremely comfortable. I really love this custom version. I like it more than I like the canon hero designs, and it is my go to.

He also added a quick connect on the LEDs so I can make it whatever color I'm in the mood for.

The hilt is 13.5" long, and it feels really solid. Plenty of room for two hands with space. I haven't weighed it but it feels like it has significantly more heft than my other hilts.

I had already ordered a Vengeance and when I saw the Monarch I briefly thought about trying to change my order before just breaking down and deciding to get both. Great mods and a beautiful saber.
