Nice but not as exciting a trailer as any of the new Star Wars movies since TFA. I will watch it multiple times at the cinemas just the same.

I wonder if this will be the first Star Wars movie without lightsaber(s).

I certainly liked this trailer more than the first one. I'm not really sure why. Maybe it's because we finally have some inkling of the actual plot, or maybe it's because Alden had very few lines. However, while I've seen plenty of things to make me say 'okay, maybe I'll go see this,' I haven't seen anything that has made me say 'okay, I am definitely seeing this.'

Wouldn't mind seeing this 'crew' that the one guy is 'putting together' totally sell Han and Chewie out. Maybe when they hear that Boba Fett is after Han...? But I'm mostly spitballing.

Well, at least we now have a definite age for Chewie - 190 years old! (at the time of the film) And did anyone notice Woody Harrelson's Lightsaber Knuckleduster combo? Interesting....most interesting!

Like the little Western vibe they gave off with the music in the beginning and as far as I'm concerned I'm watching it; seems to just be a fun space heist movie and I never say no to that :lol:

I momentarily played with the idea of the Wookiee Chewie was talking to (saying goodbye?) being Lowbacca, Chewie's nephew and a Jedi. However, it doesn't really make sense for the movie to have Lowbacca, unfortunately.

1. A lightsaber duel (presumably between Lowbacca and a vibroblade user OR Vader) would take away from the focus on Han and Chewie.

2. Since Lowbacca is EU only as of now, Disney probably wouldn't bring him back into canon without a REALLY good reason. Maybe an appearance in a Solo sequel, however?

3. It makes more sense for that Wookiee to be Chewie's wife, whom he is likely saying goodbye to before starting his life debt to Han.

Even despite all of the impossibility, it would be totally amazing and would catch audiences completely off guard if Lowbacca appeared and ignited his golden lightsaber.

I'll wear a Star Wars T-shirt.

In my humble opinion, this movie looks pretty awesome. Han Solo is, hands down, one of my favorite characters if not my all time favorite character in all of Star Wars. I'm glad we're getting a character movie, plus directed by Ron Howard no less. That trailer was awesome, it's got me jazzed for the movie even more.

If I do go to see the premiere, I'll prpbably wear the Rebel Alliance shirt that I got for Christmas this year, even though I was planning on saving it for May the Fourth. Depends on whether or not I decide to give this movie a chance.

Like I said, I haven't seen anything to really flip my trigger about this movie yet.

You mean Kathleen Kennedy, president of LucasFilm? I don't know where you think she's going to go, when she keeps making Disney crap tons of money on these films. Besides, she's been involved with a lot of good movies over the years, including being a producer on some level on a lot of Steven Spielberg's best movies, and she's been working with LucasFilm since Raiders of the Lost Ark. That woman knows what she's doing.
