When your Mystery Box sabers start to arrive, be sure to go this new section, and tell everyone about it!
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Sweet! Are you going to add a forum area for Shoto reviews? I want to get one (or more) eventually and you betcha there will be photos and video.

Yes, I will be adding sections for the Shoto Sabers as well.

I moved the original thread regarding the Mystery Box Sabers to the new section for that subject. The Shoto section for reviews is also completed.

Is there really enough content to justify a new subforum? I would have thought a single pinned "What's in your Mystery Box?" thread in Open Topics would be plenty, since in-depth reviews would still go in the appropriate hilt subforum, and questions could be covered in the announcement thread.

Let's just say it was done by request. ;)

Every new thread in the section could be started by a different recipient to detail their experience, and their new saber. A review that deals more on the speed of delivery, the unexpected nature of the Mystery saber, and the awesomeness of the price for what was received. This, as opposed to a traditional review, as there are already review sections for any saber you would receive.

At least, that's my take on it.

I ordered a Mystery Box Saber yesterday. Pure randomness. The only extra I chose was the covertech. Blade length, color, finish, etc. will be decided by Saber Forge.
I would like to make one comment about this if no one at SF thought it through. Just make sure that if you send out a shoto saber, only send 18" blades. :D Otherwise, a 37" blade in a shoto could be unwieldly.

No matter where you go, there you are.

They're easy enough to cut down to length anyway.

A 26 would work fine on a Shoto.
