The protector is based off of the ANH model of Obi Wan's saber. The activation box is now modified to resemble the graflex clamp, and the thin neck section is much shorter as compared to the one featured in RoTS (redeemer).

I thought the neck looked shorter as well but i couldnt tell if it was or if it was just the angle of the render.

I look forward to seeing the first completed Legacy (Graflex). I wanna see how it looks in comparison to the other Graflex sabers on the market made by other smiths and even in comparison to the MR FX. Like, what are they going to do with the kill key? Possibly a slide card like the PS and a hidden mini kill key? I hope the clamp by the emitter is actually like a clamp and creates a window type look on the bottom side of it.
I'm also looking forward to the Vader or whatever they plan on the model name being. Those are the 2 on my most wanted list right now (Graflex and Vader). Along with the Insurgent of course; and the Count. A Windu would be sweet… |

It's an estimated projection rather than a set release date. And ones targeted for a later release may pop up sooner. Who knows. Chill out like the rest of us and wait until you see one drop. Because it's often never just one (from what I've seen so far), they usually release new hilts in bunches of 3 or 4 to choose from. |

Plus, they are selling so many of their existing models that lead times have gotten to where they currently are. Personally, I am good with the idea that new releases, and sales can wait until the new facilities are running at full capacity, and lead times shrink to the levels that they have set as their goals for both Etsy, and main site ordering. That way, when they do drop, you could potentially get one inside a month!
