Something about the gold detail and brown leather grip seems very ancient, but also reminiscent of something Darth Sidious or Mace Windu would wield. Let's see if this even goes forward or not and what the final hilt looks like. Good stuff all around though. Go go go SF!

I must say this is a very good idea, Watching the Clone Wars, Ventress used this technique quite allot... I am definitely in support of this idea being looked at, I just wonder how practical and strong a quick connect can be?

I guess we'll see if its considered

Thinking about it now, I just see that it's a bad idea waiting to happen. It would have to be strong enough to support attacks, but still able to be disconnected quickly, which I think would be very very difficult to do.
