Hey guys, I'm SFGrandMaster-Phil, the owner at SaberForge

I've been building custom sabers since I was 14, and have been doing it professionally since 2008.

I love building them, but I also love to use them, I like to cosplay, spar, shadow duel, and practice spin techniques.

I am originally from the SF bay area, but moved to the gorgeous pacific northwest to expand SF in a more business friendly state.

I've had sabers since MasterReplica first came out I got 3 Vader(staff coupler) a Maul full staff and a Mace... Just recently I've gotten back into it full swing as it were...

I picked up a US Reaper w emerald and obsidian boards and a grab bag dark prophecy v3 in SRD.

I also ordered a SF Sinister Prophecy Hero in purple/amber.

Anxiously waiting for the SF saber

I'm looking forward to some cosplay and battling as well as maybe trying to build a saber...

Hello All, my name is MattShiloh. I am a long time Star Wars fan and am a recent Cosplayer... Well more to say I will be. I am actually working in my first Jedi Tunic and tabards now for an event in October and several others next year.

I am a former member of the SCA, and I studied Kobudo and Goju-Ryu growing up in Texas, so I am hoping my swords experience will translate well to saber dueling. Unfortunately there aren't a lot of saber duelists that I am aware of in Nashville, where I currently call home. Lots of members of the 501st, and I hear of a few Rebel Legion around here, just haven't met them yet.

I am a maker, more into robotics and electronics and such. I work in the InfoSec realm for a Fortune 500, and spend a lot of time reading.

I'm Jeff, I've been in the custom Lightsaber community for a few months but have been a SW fan since 1977.

Born in San Francisco I'm now located in Santa Rosa CA, U.S.A. where I was raised.

My favorite lightsaber is Luke's in ROTJ, My favorite duel is Vader vs. Luke in ESB and my favorite of the trilogy is ESB.

I have a 10 Year old girl who loves the hobby as well. We duel as often as we can.

Hello Saberland! I'm commonly known online as Lucien Kane. My name is Daniel, and I am a Sabertech with Saberforge.

I have been a Star Wars fan for a long time, and I've also been a martial arts enthusiast for a good while now too. I've always had a penchant for combining my two loves, Star Wars and martial arts expressed in the form of lightsaber combat. I work closely with TPLA and also head my own school called Tythos Ridge Saber Academy.

Aside from that I am an aspiring actor with dreams of being in one of the new Star Wars films.

I love making sabers, it has been one of the most therapeutic activities for me since exiting the Marine Corps in 2010.

Other than that, I love meeting new people and I look forward to being a part of this new forum!

Hey everybody. My name's Clay. I live in Baltimore, MD but am originally from WA state.

I am just now getting into the custom saber hobby (waiting on my first order from SF ). Until this past summer I wasn't even aware that sabers existed beyond the toys that you can purchase at any toy store. When visiting my brother he showed me his Champion level Gladius and I HAD to have one of my own! I will be buying new sabers as often as I can convince my wife to release the funds!

I also plan to put together a Sith costume to venture into the world of cosplay which is another arena that I have never really delved into. I already have most of the costume planned, I just need to have the funds to purchase the components.

I had intended to use Darth Ataxic as my username but out of habit I plugged in my standard "callmegideon" so I will answer to both! lol

Where in the Bay Area are you from Phil? I grew up in Pacifica. Moved to Vegas a few years ago.
I never knew lightsabers like these existed until I started researching costumes last year for Celebration Anaheim. I knew of Master Replicas and Hasbro. I built a Mace Windu and Count Dooku at the Lightsaber Bar in Disneyland. Looking to build my own Graflex and a few other designs I have soon.

Read the novels, play the games, watch ALL the movies(even though I Bitch about the Prequels, I watch the fuck out of them anyway), cartoon series and comic books.

Hey all! I am a member of The Rebel Legion, The Dark Empire and The Dark Alliance. I just ordered my first saberforge. I went with the exalted, 12 watt yellow with champion sound upgrade. I can't wait to get it! I joined this forum to see what's happening in it and to follow all the awesome saber builds from saberforge.

Hey everyone, I'm Alex. I grew up and currently live in Houston, TX. Luckily my dad forced Star Wars onto me at the age of 3, so I have definitely been a fan for as long as I can remember.

I recently got into costuming and local cons. In the past year I have jumped feet first into the custom saber community and quickly learning how awesome it is. I am hoping to join the rebel legion soon, and hopefully with luck in the future, also join the 501st.

I collected some Master Replicas Force FX sabers back in high school, and since then have collected a few more custom sabers from around the community; Saberforge and non-Saberforge.

I Gotta say, my favorite dueling saber at the moment is my Gladius. This thing is wicked!

My next step is to jump into saber building, so I've got that on my plate.

I am Gary, probably better known as Count Arkanus. I'm a Martial Artist and Saber enthusiast who has loved Star Wars ever since I was a child; which is quite "a long time ago...." for me.

I have been formally training with a lightsaber, and involved in the sabering community for around 16 months now though. (since May 2013). I'm an LX Apprentice with TPLA and member of several cosplay groups, such as TDA, TDE and the Galactic Knights (here in the UK)

Oh, and yes, I'm from the UK....Doncaster, in the North of England, to be exact. I would LOVE to find some local victims....I mean,.....sparring partners here, but they seem a little thin on the ground in these parts.

Kresnik here, long time Star Wars fan and I just recently (1.5 years) started getting into the prop and LED lightsaber enthusiasm. I eventually plan on setting up a Sentinel Cosplay - with my brand new Gladius 12 Watt in Yellow (it is so nice I just cannot stop touching it)

My heart is in Photography/ Production and writing but my career since high school has been in Law Enforcement and Private Security.

I prefer flow dueling, free form, spinning and choreography.

I see sabering as a childhood fantasy being lived out and with the added benefit of exercise and a good way to blow off some steam and anger.

I currently live in the Armpit of Southern California but I work in San Diego County, California.

I like to surf, hike, target and competitive shooting, archery, airsoft, I play video games (FPS, MMOs) I love photography, Star Wars, Sci Fi in general, Horror and so on.

I currently own 4 ultrasabers ( Aeon, Guardian, Bellicose, DSI) but my crown jewel is my newly acquired Saberforge Gladius Warrior in 12 watt yellow, dark weathering and brown wrap. I love this damn thing, it is basically what I envisioned for my character (Kresnik) that I have been writing for years and it is the definition of the feel and look that I was looking for.

I've been a Star Wars fan my entire life, but I only got into the saber community around March 2014, when I was looking for a replica of the RotS Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber, my favorite hilt design from the movies. I discovered SaberForge and their Redeemer design, and I've been a loyal SaberForge customer ever since.

I've converted several MR and Hasbro lightsabers using SaberForge LED units, and while I'm still relatively new to the saber scene, I have definitely learned a lot in a short period of time and I very much look forward to learning more from you and sharing in our mutual love for Star Wars and lightsabers
