Hello saber fans, I am new to lightsabers but not to swords. I have been customizing Japanese style swords for around 9 years and I'm now starting to get really interested in owning a custom lightsaber. While there are a lot of elements of the lightsaber I'm familiar with, as I've been a fan of them since I saw the first one on the big screen in 77, but there is so much more about the modern sabers I'm completely unfamiliar with. I know some of the basics after watching a lot of videos and reading a lot of reviews but to be honest, the electronics and other tech stuff is a bit beyond me at the moment.

I joined this forum to try and learn as much as I can before making a purchase as well as to meet some fellow fans and just immerse myself in general sabery goodness. See ya on the boards

Hi Guys My name is Chris. I'm from and live in Columbus Ga. Sabers are a new hobby for me I got hooked beginning of the summer. I purchased my son a saber and have fallen in love. I have already built a MHS saber of my own and of course I can't teach myself or my son to put the battery in with out it being the being backwards so I have burned a NB v2 up twice.. So I purchased a used Venomous Fury. My son and I have had a blast with the hobby. I wish we had a sparing group here so we could actually learn how to duel..

I'm a huge video game fan. I can't wait for the new Battle front to come out..
