Where did you hear that? SF is known to make the most durable blades there is for duelling. There's a video somewhere on YouTube where you can see Phil and Shameem (I think), going full force on each other and the only thing that happens during that is the tip of the blade which pops off, issue that's been resolved by screwing the tip in.

Hello everyone my name is DarthRodimus and I have been a starwars lover since I was a child. I live in San Diego CA and have recently been building my own sabers with parts from SF. I have been training in a form of free running and dueling and am looking forward to talking about possible saber techniques

Ok good to hear from a owner that the blades are good.
The reason I thought they were not was a video comparing ultra saber vs Saber Forge.
I like the Saber Forge saber's better as far as looks and power.
I think with blades being as good as you say...
Man, I can't wait till mine comes in..

Thanks again,
Eric

There are blades, like the US mid-grade or VV Photon, that are a bit brighter than a SF V4, but they're not meant for dueling. The V4 is the best dueling blade out there.

Hello all,

My name is Peter. I live in Portland, OR and just became aware of Saberforge this past year. I've been a life-long Star Wars fan and just recently acquired my first saber, a weathered Venom Champion. I'm pretty new to the whole saber thing, and would love to meet up with other people in the area to learn how to duel and do some fight choreography. I've been practicing some spins on my own at home and have been having a lot of fun with it.

My other interests include skateboarding, snowboarding, camping, movies, music, art, beer, and just exploring the great NW. I feel very lucky to live in such an amazing part of the country.

Hope to get to know you all a little better through this forum. I feel like this whole saber hobby could become quite the addiction. I've already purchased another hilt, an Arbiter Initiate that I plan to upgrade to a Champion tier one day.

This is a great time to be a Star Wars fan! May the Force be with you all!

Welcome!

Addictive? My friend, you are only beginning to plumb the depths of the meaning of that word with regards to this hobby!

As for learning saber combat, well my sources tell me that, in addition to living in the right place to just be able to jump in the car, drive to the SaberForge store, and buy a saber...within a few months the owner of that very same facility will be opening a saber combat school in the vicinity!

So...aren't the rest of us just a little envious of this guy? ;) B) :woohoo:
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

Hi!
I'm hugh and I wanted a custom lightsaber for a long time. I didn't want a saber until I saw Darth Maul's duel bladed version. It rekindled my interest in star wars. Fast foward to this year and another Star Wars villain sparked my interest in lightsabers again, Kylo Ren. Now thats a saber I couldn't pass up and luckily this time around there's a plenty of options. I researched and browsed at many but saberforge's crossguard stood out the most.

Videogames also got me into it more with games like rogue squadron, x-wing alliance, and the kyle katarn videogame series. These games led me to star wars galaxies and Knights of the Old Republic. That led to my interest in the EU/Legends content and eventually my star wars farewell bundle. Still reading it and the current star wars comics.

Last month I finally decided on the Templar to be my first lightsaber. I'm so excited about it. I actually want to cosplay for the next star wars premieres. At first i was just going to wear a jedi robe and weild a lightsaber. Now I find myself looking at custom masks and more detailed cosplay attire. Lightsaber still the centerpiece of my cosplay though.

I joined to gain further insight on sf products, cosplay tips, and mingle from time to time with other fellows in the saber community.

Hello All,
My Name is Dion Hightower Jr and I am a huge fan of all things Star Wars, Comics Power Rangers and Mega Man X. I came across Sabeforge, thanks to a friend of mine, while on a search to finally buck up and get my very own Light Saber to use and display. Im sure like most of you guys I have wanted my own since I first laid eyes on one, in my case it was the Luke and Obi Wan scene. i go to 3-5 comicons a year with NYCC being the biggest and I have always been intrigued by Cosplayers and amazed at what they can build/put together based on their own imagination, or even how accurate some come out, and hope one day I can cosplay as well, i am glad that SaberForge has a Forum community that looks pretty involved and plan on being pretty active and may end up asking a ton of questions lol.
Well thanks for reading and i hope to talk with you guys soon
