well just as an update, a few friends and i are putting together a group for anyone interested. as soon as i set everything up ill give more details, if interested please let me know! i know its a big state, and getting everyone together might be a challenge, but ill do my best to make it easy for everyone. |

NJ... big... ha! Come out west and say that. =P In California you can drive literally all day long and still be in Cali. Same with Texas. =P Silly North Easterners...

lol, i've lived in Cali, and texas…and yes they are massive compared to a state like NJ
however without a car, it still is a hastle to get from top to bottom, and seeing as we all live about 30-45 min away from each other…probably more, it can seem like a big state. either way, feel free to these North easterners kick some ass if your every on this coast! |

Spent 4.5 hours in beach traffic last weekend. NJ is nice because in most cases you can be in the next state in a matter of hours. I myself am 15 minutes away from New York City. Other states are nice too I guess lol.

Darth Titus we must live right next to each other lol, I'm about 5 min from the city myself. just on this side of the hudson.
other states are nice, in my personal opinion, jersey is all i need. BTW if you see some people dueling at night on the beach ( most likely by sandy hook) you know whats up lol |

Hey guys we actually have a NYC Saber Legion Dueling Charter here. If you're not too far from the city, our second meet is coming up at the end of the month. Here's the info from the post I just made
In two weeks, Sunday the 24th, is the second NYC Saber Legion charter meet up. For those unaware, we're essentially an extension of an international dueling group that just had its first tournament in Missouri. All skill levels are welcome. Most of us have either have little to no sword experience or barely a month of classes under our belts. We are currently doing light dueling. So as far as requirements you need some kind of basic eye protection (cheap impact glasses for like $5 from home depot are what we're currently using). Some padded gloves of some kind and preferably groin protection. Spare gear is available, not groin protection obviously lol. And then just as important. You need a duel ready Saber. Otherwise anyone is welcome come out!
