Some masterful Cram Fu must be needed to get everything inside just the lower part of the saber, especially for a Hero setup. With the LED unit being just a bit further down in the grenade section (instead of just under the thin neck portion), I wonder if there's any noticeable loss of brightness.

Thanks for the Video Post Share Brax, certainly puts to rest what the upgrade is. I took a guess once over in This Topic with:

Regarding CR Version 3 I can only speculate that, remaining true to SFs exclusivity of the Reveal Design, that the retractable struts used will still be SS construction but replaced with a solid strut(s) that recesses-in to the Hilt Fore-grip rather than retract as a collapsible fold.

Agreed. An alternate theory I had, during an exchange with Andi-Jae EL, was with the recently previewed Crystal Guardian that the new design would be identical and the entire Grenade foregrip would be unscrewable, so the LED Module position stays the same and light still funnels through the Thin Neck. If the LED Module now possibly sits lower, perhaps a different LED or Lens is used?

I'm really curious about that since they told me they were out of the metal kill keys. Only one way to find out.
