TOPIC: Low response wait times!... and other stuff too

Hey guys, just wanted to post a few semi official updates.

#1 - kickstarter orders are underway officially. This will most likely start slow and ramp up.

#2 - response wait times are down hardcore. We are currently CURRENT on emails (answering same day, minus weekends when we are closed) and etsy is down to 2 day response time. This will become current by mid week next week.

#3 - 12w+ LEDs (and 6w+) are officially the only LEDs we ship now. 12w and 6w are gone. The website and etsy will undergo an update soon to reflect this.

#4 - Once the kickstarter and indiegogo orders have shipped the ASP system will launch with its own website. This website will be the template used as a basis for the new mainsite design. Once any kinks are worked out, the main site will follow with an overhaul that should see a merger of the two sites.

#5 - after the ASP launch we will begin releasing new designs again.

#6 - the new machine shop is nearly up to Osha standards and will be opening soon, which will provide a new, much needed boost to supply for production.

So.. yeah busy times here, but a lot us getting done!

Hurray for everything! This is exactly why I always follow and join up with forums, this kind of info is usually put here far before anywhere else and it's always much more personal feeling.

Do you know if there is a problem with yahoo email not being able to receive things from SF though? I'm actually still waiting on a response...and it's been a while. They were questions specifically for my ASP order.

Glad to know things are getting less hectic over there. Maybe order modifications may even be a thing again in the future. And 6w+, that's a new one. The new website will be much appreciated. All in all, Ryan is happy with this news.

Awesome stuff! Especially the 12w+ stuff! I ordered an epoch champ 6 weeks ago and wondered how/if I could upgrade it to 12+ so this rules!

Though i'm confused, I thought you guys were waiting for the new shop to pass the OSHA inspections and that was what was holding everything up. How are you guys moving forward before the new shop is up to standards?

Thanks knytiri it's nice to get small updates like this. Can't wait for the new websites and the ASP launches. I just can't wait to build my own custom saber.

Great batch of news. Looks like we have lots to look forward to it.

Unsure what I have patience for now, my sabers or all the new features.

So, I made my order 4 weeks ago. Do I need to send SaberForge an email requesting the +12v or it will be automatic?

From the verbiage in the post, it sounds like they have exhausted their supply of the old parts, and anything being assembled from that moment on will have 6w+, or if you paid for 12w, you will get a 12w+.

Is that the way it reads to you guys?

It's pretty clear, 12w+ (and 6w+) is what customers get as of today onward for any orders that ship with it.

I've just received my notification on status change to Shipped a few moments ago!
I hope this means that the 12w on my order will be upgraded to 12w+!

Just for reference, I ordered my saber on Dec 7th and today is exactly 2 months from the order date!
Hopefully I will be seeing the saber at the end of the month!!!
