I've heard that with some sabers you're able to screw off the pommel, before I buy my first saber can anyone clarify if this is true or not, and if it is true is it only available with some sabers? can I add a different pommel to the saber?

Most pommels are removable, and interchangeable with others from SaberForge. I think there are a couple of exceptions, but I cannot remember them off the top of my head. Anybody remember which one(s)?

Apprentice hilts Acolyte and Disciple have an angle body where the pommel goes. So not all of the ASP pommels will work on those 2 specific sabers. Aside from the previously mentioned Bane, the pommels do unscrew an can be changed, fit has to be considered because not all hilts and pommels have the same OD (Outer diameter).
