I found this today.
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/8927457/1/Lightsaber-Training After reading the intro and the Shii-Cho page, I am not impressed with the attention to detail (what is the "Defensive Back" stance? Where do my feet go? Where is my weight? Apparently this is the greatest defensive stance in all of swordsmanship ever but no explanation other than "hilt high, blade angled down"). Anybody have something more informative? I'd always rather read a description than have to watch a video but I recognize that some things you just need to see to understand fully. But srsly. Show me whatever you got that's better than the article I linked. Or something that can fill in the gaps. |

Hey there, it sounds like you might be interested in some actual instruction. There's quite a bit written on the Forms, but it's often not accompanied by any kind of real specifics on training or application. There's a group called Terra Prime Light Armory (TPLA) that goes in depth on those kinds of things, you can check out our Learners in Exile group on Facebook for more discussion if you like.
