Hey folks,
I'm looking at possibly changing up my av switch with a black housing switch. As per the specs as listed on the following page ( http://www.modmaker.co.uk/Mod-Making-Supplies/Switches/12mm-White-LED-Black-Anodised-Illuminated-Switch-With-Flat-Flush-Actuator ) , is the depth of the switch useable? Or would I need more room for wiring and heat dissipation?

Thanks for your time and answers

That's the same as SF uses. Just in case you didn't know, that same switch and lots more are also available at TCSS. That's where I got the ones I use in my SF hilts.

I have installed black ones in other hilts, yeah, but the ones I bought for SF hilts were the bare metal ones. But it's the same thing either way.

Do I need an account with TCSS to buy parts? I can't seem to add anything to cart. Only add to wish list.

The store is actually moving to a new, bigger location right now. They're expecting to be back up running on this coming Monday.

That's why you can't add stuff to your cart. You don't need to have an account but it does make things easier if you end up shopping there a lot.

But yeah, if you're like dying to get a switch ASAP and don't want to wait the 4 days, I can understand that. I can get impatient like that with buying saber parts.

No, I was just looking at parts last night and noticed that. I was only curious but thanks for the info.
I placed an order for a saber on Etsy last night. So I will probably be looking at making a few small changes to it that the TCSS store has available in parts.
