Brought my Disciple lightsaber to Ahch-To 1 year 4 months ago #59663

Last week I was fortunate enough to get to know this fantastic place where they shot the last scene from Ep VII: Skelling Michael. The place was used as the planet Ahch-To, wherein Luke find what seems to be the first Jedi Temple ever built.
Well, I had to bring my Disciple with me! And now my lightsaber feels even more special, embodied with the force! =p The temple:    The place Luke was found by Rei:   |

How do they take you out there? Were there a lot of people?

Well, the island is a protected site. They allow only a few number of people every day up there. So you need to book a boat to bring you there and that's the easy part. Since it's only a small number of people allowed every day, you need to book the boat at least a couple of months before you're planning to go. And when the day comes, you need to be lucky enough for the weather to be good for the landing on the island, otherwise the boat wont stop. And I don't know exacly how many people can be there at the same time. Maybe something around 40. |
