TOPIC: New Sentinel saber + 2 others

Went to pick up my new sabers today at the showroom. All are warrior tier with night light upgrade.

Sentinel - green
Consular - deep blue
Viper - red

Nice! So did you buy them at the showroom right then, or did you order them online and pick them up at the showroom? I still don't know how that works.

You can buy sabers on the spot at the showroom or you can put in an order there in person. They told me it was 2 week wait time for local customers, but it actually only took 1 week to get them.

Congrats on a great Triumvirate of Sabers!

A beautiful mix of styles and colour choices. (I do have to say I'm a bit partial to Green though!) The blue really sets the Consular off nicely and obviously a Red Viper speaks for itself!

Sadly I can only afford one at a time and when my credit card recovers, but still a nice collection you have there,

Gorgeous. They're simply awesome.

Man i am seriously so jealous of you. I've been wracking my brain trying to think of someone I know or that my wife knows that lives near that showroom that could go buy me one and ship it.

Its totally driving me insane hearing about people walking in and walking right out with one. I hate having plenty of cash yet not being able to just purchase what I want when I want it. I am definitely one of the most impatient people in the world.

Sadly, we don't know anyone even remotely close to Oregon.

And i've only been waiting 2 and a half weeks so far. Imagine the state of me 2 months from now when i'm still waiting!

Where can I read up more about this "night light upgrade" you speak of? Is it a critical upgrade or is this more of a cosmetic add on?

What is the "nightlite" option I've heard of?

A - This can be tricky; there are two things which are almost the same thing, and most commonly, they are both referred to as the "nightlite" option. It is important when placing your order to know the difference and make sure you are requesting the right one for what you want.

Nightlite - The actual term Nightlite refers to an in-hilt recharge port that is not wired like a typical recharge port. In this situation, the battery does not charge when it's plugged in... the LED turns on while it is plugged in. This is ideal for wall-hanging or decoration, where you can have the saber plugged in and turned on for display.

In-hilt recharge - Adding the in-hilt recharge (normally only available on Champion and Hero tiers) to a warrior.

Both of these have the same cost, but the term "nightlite" is commonly referred to for both, and it's a rather important distinction.

However reading all of the page will answer a lot of questions and help you out.

In two months...I can't even imagine.

I've already joked (maybe not quite) about getting a plane ticket out to Portland. My wife found that amusing at first...until she could see the little wheels turning in my head and told me "No way."


Btw flops, those sabers are stunningly awesome. The new sentinel especially is just breathtaking.

Ha, just noticed that all three sabers have emitter windows.

Holy damn, flops, all three of those are beautiful, but that viper... that's a gorgeous piece of art.
