Ribber OFFLINE Premium Member Posts: 83 Like received: 17	Anyone done some blaster or saber marks on their hilts? Dremel and/or welding? I suppose for a non-contact saber some epoxy sculpting would work, if access to an aluminum welding set up just isn't happening.

I was just thinking about this the other day...I'd be interested in seeing that myself. It wouldn't be hard to think of several ways to attempt it but sure would be nice to see some various examples before doing anything to a perfectly good hilt.

I'd say no matter what try doing at least 2 to 3 practice attempts first on a similar surface to get a feel for it. See if you think you'll be able to get the desired results before trying it on the real deal.

A custom saber they posted about recently had cracks and heavy weathering. Not quite the same thing as a blaster scorch mark, but looks epic, I think...

So, I'll post more pics on my personal saber when I get it of that particular weathering/scarring style. And yes, I'm stupid amounts of excited for it!
