Good old Thomas Snyder! You can always count on him to drop hints at upcoming releases, usually in the form of a 3-D render.

Below is something he posted in the same thread as the original announcement. Below is what he calls "The Talon".

EDIT: For anyone concerned about the durability of the tines at the end of the emitter, I asked Thomas about that, and he informed me that he took a Talon out for a little "testing", where he proceeded to use all the power he could muster with a two-handed grip to smash the blade against a steel pole! The results? While the unglued neck threads did give a bit, he was happy to report that the tines were not effected by the abuse. He was also pretty sure that when the neck threads were glued (which is standard procedure), they would be more durable too. So, this one should be able to take anything we could do in "blade on blade" dueling.

I'd have to see some other angles of the Renegade, but that might be one I have to have as well, lol. I like that "mostly black, with silver accents" finish.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but the Talon has a new emitter that's different from the Forsaken? IE the 'crown'-shroud (08 Emitter in ASP if I'm not mistaken) has longer tines or are they the same basic Emitter?

Very cool to see at least these new additions; seems most are new mixtures off what one can make in ASP; like the Justicar and Mercenary and Emerald Knight or shoto's based on elite designs (like that Epoch shoto

).
Would've been cool to see SF perhaps come with an entirely new hilt, for instance based on TFU (Starkiller, I know we have the Monarch and Reliant), Kyle Katarn, Qel-Droma, Ven Zallow or the Bane 2.0 that I've been seeing designs off, but any new sabers are always a welcome addition.
After all, with the new options for customization with powder coating and other finishes, the possibilities are endless
