Richie Castellano is nothing short of a steely-eyed missile man! This demo is fantastic, and I highly recommend it for anyone interested in the new boards capabilities.

One feature Richie forgot to mention is the "Flash on Blaster Block" that flashes when the blaster block sound is played from the main switch.

I want. I want that guitar he has that looks like the USS Defiant from Star Trek too. (I don't play guitar) But, I really want one of these 3.0 boards. So many capabilities you see in higher end boards. Plus, USB charging is a great way to bring the hobby into modern times, since we all have those micro USB to USB cables and power adapters.

I noticed that too. At first glance, I thought it was the Millennium Falcon. (he is talking about lightsabers, after all) I took a closer look and realized it was the Defiant. Cool stuff.

Frankly, I'm tired of buying sabers. I've bought 10 sabers of all tiers and finishes including 2 Warrior Mystery Boxes and received one as a gift in less than one year. Don't do the math on that, it's a lot. Now I find myself wanting a powdercoated Bane Mk II with the SaberCore 3.0. If it doesn't premier in this sale, I'll get one in the next. Like everything else in life, I want just one more.

True! It was only because the script said so, that Defiant got its ass kicked in the battle with the Borg cube over Earth in Star Trek: First Contact. Enterprise is always portrayed as the "pride of the fleet", and most powerful because it is like an un-credited member of the cast, and that has been the premise since the beginning. Not that I don't love Enterprise (every iteration of it), but Defiant would have been towing its smoldering hull back to space dock, rather than it pursuing the sphere back in time to post WWIII Earth.

But I digress...

Don't forget the armor too. I always like flying one of those in Star Trek Online, they're so maneuverable and have all those weapons. B)

Though, I have to say I'm a fan of the Constellation class myself. I think it's just because it doesn't really fit with the rest of the Starfleet ships. The other ships are all smooth lines and unmarred hulls, while the Constellation class doesn't have smooth lines and has all of those bits and bobs attached to it. Unlike the Defiant, it's under powered, but a real workhorse of the fleet.

I originally ordered the MPP MK1 in the initiate tier because it was all I could afford at the time (like a few days after it was announced). I was sure it was going to sell out fast, and I at least wanted the hilt. It's been like a month and I finally managed to contact Saberforge about upgrading my MPP MK1 order to the champion tier to get in on that Sabercore 3.0. So now I'm in on that, It looks sick!
