since i get 2, do i build a matched pair or can i build 2 separate sabers?

I did two separate, but you can do two of the same and use your extra part for a staff coupler.

PS - Darth Floyd How did you get that shot of your plug? I played around for a while and couldn't figure out how to spin it like that. Ultimately picked a plug without a good preview.

Cool saber! I found that if you have a part selected in the builder, you can better rotate around that part, for a more dynamic view. I was also building on an iPad, so I just did a screen cap.

Who said staffs need to be symmetrical? I made sure the lengths were identical or close to but wanted it to look like something thrown together with improper parts.
