Mint green 26" Shoto? That's a nifty design. And good to see the Jade emitter put to use.
Are you getting 2 of these sabers the same for a staff? You mentioned in a previous post you were going for the $450 pledge.

Yes sir. Though total length without blade on the hilt is 11.1 so I'm not exactly sure that's shoto size. Also, that's based purely on my understanding of Japanese weaponry (shoto, wakasashi, katana) so in my mind the shoto is the shorter of the three.

But you are correct I posted a couple options in the other thread. Changed a few things around and ended up on this one.

With the talk of hilt length, I made the longest and shortest possible hilt designs using just the Emitter/Switch/Base/Pommel options on the ASP builder.

This is the weapon I would design as a full member of the Grey Jedi, after losing one of my Jedi Padawan lightsabers in a duel. Drawn from my left side by my right hand, and to be used with one hand.

I'm a fan of duel saber combat so I like "hand and a half" hilts with 26" or 32"blades

I'm usually not a fan of switch sections with the box sticking out of the side. But I kind of like the Reliant switch with the same specs as above.

Nice saber! I too am a dual wielder (at least, a potential dual wielder), and this thing is perfect for it. Simple, but with just a bit of pizazz in the emitter.

Been playing around with a polearm type. This is a version with the reborn emitter as the butt of the polearm. Would like to know how hefty this thing weighs.

One of my character's (and by extension, mine) first two dual wielding lightsabers. The original counterpart to Emerald Justice was lost in a battle against a Sith Lord known as Talos Ren, or Garsis as he was once known.

Still debating between the weathered or standard finish. I personally am leaning towards the weathered finish for this one, as it gives the impression of a much older weapon. Variant with standard finish:

Yup, that's the idea! I'm glad you like them. I'd dual wield with Emerald Fury in my right hand and Emerald Justice in my left, both with green blades.

I am a Gray Jedi, but since I feel that I lean closer to the light side, I wield both green blades.

Just sent in my ASP form, so it's official! This will be coming in February:







Sorcerer emitter, switch 10, Venom body, and Avenger pommel, all weathered with a 37" yellow blade and the Crimson soundboard. I'll probably mess around with the number of claws I'll leave on and sand down the overhang where the pommel meets the body. Probably not the best saber for spinning or dueling, but I won't be doing a lot of that anyway.

I created this out of boredom. I really wanted to utilize the relic pommel and rebel emitter. But it actually turned out, I think, kinda nice. It's different. I could go longer on the body but then we'd be going into 12+" but I suppose some people prefer that! Thoughts?
