TOPIC: Themed Sabers

Hi everyone,

Fear not, the ASP system is safe! I can't afford to send an order in, let alone pay to have the builder fixed! Plus I wouldn't want to deprive all of you saber fans of a way to pass the time while you wait for your purchases!

Now there was mention of HHH? Well I think I have something!

SABER FOR THE KING

(aka Saberial Assasin)















Now in no particular order is a list of names for the next couple of sabers, you may recognise who they belong to.
Brahma, Fang-Grel, Madness, Iconic, Re-Evolution and hopefully Adrenaline Rush and American Man.

Another fine looking saber. From certain angles you can see an H in the claws, and since there's 3 claws, there would be 3 Hs for Ttiple H.

Perhaps you could call it the "Saberial Assassin"

Thanks for your comments and I have amended my post to reflect your suggestion for a name!

I had to use claws as there isn't a Laser Hammerhead to make a Saber Sledgehammer! The claws have multiple looks within them, they also look a bit like his outstretched arms before the spit and spray during his entrance and before his Finisher!

I have just been informed that an ASP has entered the forum.....no sorry, a Rattlesnake has entered the forum and is now on the list of upcoming sabers!

I built this hilt before OvrcAHst even declared Emerald Knights Day, how about that for having a Force Premonition!

Once again I'm glad you like the designs Ri Dar Kaydis, I have a few (few?) more to add over the next couple of days in the wrestling theme, including Excellence of..., Brahma, RedNeck and even a couple of Clowns!

But for now I will post one final design for today, a Vampire based hilt, called...

Fang-Grel:













Now if you imagine the grip is a white frilled formal shirt and the pommel is a goblet of Blood you might guess who this belongs to!

Just found this thread looks like lots of fun! And as a follow up to that super sweet HHH themed saber, with Wrestlemania on the way, how could we forget THE DEAD MAN!

Long staff and bladed emitter to mimic a scythe, followed by a blue blade to match that sweet sweet lightning the Undertaker loves.

That purple and black is one sexy ass combo. Amazing well done For, the Juggernaut emitter is perfect for the hilt. I like it, plus ya know.. black also.

Glad you like it. The Juggernaut emitter actually represents the logo Bret "The Hitman" Hart used of a winged heart emblem.
Even better was his slogan that was, "The EXCELLENCE of EXECUTION" which is what inspired me to use the axe head Juggernaut.

I still have a few of these wrestling themes to come including REDNECK, HUSTLE, PYTHONS, RE-EVOLUTION.

But first we have a trip to the ASYLUM and a Boiler-room Brawl with MADNESS.

Thank you, I think I have been quoted elsewhere saying it was a shame that the Bootup sound can't be edited on the boards SaberForge offer, I suggested that "The Joker" Saber which was posted by Borommakot earlier in this thread would benefit from a recording of Mark Hammill cackling.(Hammill provided voice over for the Joker in the Bartman animations and computer games).

Wait, what do you mean it's time for my MED's? I'm not mad....oh I get it, the next Saber! Well I may as well post it while I am here.

Hi Everyone,

This evening I have had to make a change to my plans as I have discovered one of the wrestlers I have created a Saber for has just announced his retirement. As a result I will post Re-Evolution and the tribute to the Franchise of WCW.

First up on the undercard is the Faction that was the pinnacle of progress, four men, one group at the top, Batista, Orton, Flair and the Cerebral Assassin Triple H....

RE-EVOLUTION:















Well that was Evolution, there is a silver coupler with 4 rings representing the progression from "The Four Horsemen" through to Evolution themselves. The black hilt represents the sharp suits of the Stylin' and Profilin' style of the group and the Yellow grip and blade representing the Gold the team accumulated!

Hi MHM, I thought you may like this one, even though it has a bit of a Gold theme as well. The gold was also meant to signify the Championship Belts the group won.
Luckily the next instalment is also Black so if you can stick around for a couple of hours, you may have another favourite to add to your list. And it will be poignant as this particular wrestler has just announced his retirement from in-ring competition!

It's the MAIN EVENT of the evening!
In this instalment I pay tribute to one of the most respected wrestlers in the business. He also resisted joining the biggest company in order to help build and establish TWO new wrestling companies, TNA and WCW! He became a legend at WCW and was instrumental in establishing a show called Monday Night Nitro. So much was he respected he was nicknamed the "Franchise of WCW", "The Stinger" and is more commonly known as STING!

We also know him as THE ICON!

Creativity Abundant! ARNANARCHY, I really like your Deadman and coincidental to your Reaper reference I recognised similar energy with Death's portrayal and his Harvester scythe in Darksiders. For Tyeth, your descriptive reference of Fang-Grel to that of a vampire was uncanny. I immediately thought of Dante from Devil May Cry and the accents of white in the grip represented by his iconic white hair. Definitely a Hilt worthy of his wielding if a Saber was included in his arsenal. Exciting stuff from you both.

EDIT: Today, I am the forgetful Fool. ICON. Magic and wonder. I imagine this as an instrument capable and equally effective with ignition from either end, spitting from the Fork and as explosive from the Claws as you have depicted.

That is a great saber For! I like it, good honor for the Stinger.
