Hi Everyone,
I've had my ASP Saber for awhile now, but haven't got around to posting any pics on it. Didn't really have any kind of inspiration for this saber---I kinda just went with each part that looked good to me and put it all together. I went with standard finish on all the parts, I like how it turned out, but I think it might have looked better as a weathered hilt. Here's the parts I used:

--Emitter 10
--Exile Switch
--Body 7
--Pommel 5
--PnP Champion Kit with force feedback vibration
--PnP light up switch
--PnP Quad Cree 12w Deep Red

Thanks for looking

Now that it's a lightsaber. I like it. Awesome job!

Hi DK,

Wow man a real nice hilt there. I like the way you lined up the Exile switch so the buttons are on the side. I also only recently found out that SF had added the silver to the ribbed section in the cut-out.

I hope this beauty serves you long and well!

There was great debate on how the emitter should be lined up. I originally wanted the top of the emitter to line up with the lighted switch but even with timing shims I just couldn't get it lined up that way without gluing the threads so I lined it up with the Exile greeblies.....it's growing on me, lol

I think the standard finish looks great on your saber, sometimes weathered hides the little details.

Thanks---I've yet to get a saber weathered and I almost had it done to this one...you're right though, it's hard to beat the silver & black with the standard finish!

Thanks Execute! I'm a sucker for greeblies and Body 7 always had my attention ever since ASP went live,---it's actually very comfortable to hold, no sharp edges on the squares

Very nice. Here is mine, i love this emitter!, however note that the coupler below the emitter is just a place holder as my crystal chamber is still in the works. Was thinking bout switching out the blade and led retention screws for greeblies. Not sure yet. I like to call mine the contraband, as it also was peiced together and my wife thinks its funny. Haha

Awesome saber :woohoo:
Can't remember right now who it was on the forum (I think Nolaan), but there was another user who also had a very cool design that reminded me of yours; not because of the same parts used, but because of the feel - Original Trilogy aesthetic.

Like, your saber seems like it could fit right between the Graflex, MPP and such because of it's practical design; function over form, it's purpose is to be a lightsaber and the parts assembled exhibit that quality - like some Jedi found the necessary parts and build it like this, without thinking whether it was beautiful (not that it isn't) but if it was practical.
A utilitarian design I would say :cheer:
