TOPIC: 12w+ Yellow Warrior Consular

Dear Saber fans,

For those who remember my second review about a Deep Blue Silver Knight (when our community was much much smaller ahah), I talked about my desire to buy a 12w+ Yellow Consular. When I was a kid, I played a lot of Dark Force and Jedi Knight II, I was amazed by yellow lightsabers. So I bought a warrior edition and I already have received it 2 month now ! So it's time to finally make a proper review !

The consular saber : Elegant and simple design. Perfect for those, like me, that likes clean design over encumbered design.

The 12w+ Yellow LED by Saberforge is achieved by combining Amber and Green :

Also when you wield the saber, the black section constitute a confortable grip for you hand.

This is the most accurate picture that capture the true appearance of the yellow color in person : The yellow is not a true gold yellow at all (if you want that, buy an Amber LED) and it looks more like a yellowish acid color ... Its my only complain

Conclusion :

I am very pleased with this saber, the look is perfect. I like the yellow LED, but its a too yellowish green color for me. Compared to my 12w+ Deep Blue Silver knight, I was expecting the yellow LED to shine even more, but its not. My Consular remains a true piece of art. Also as a apprentice saber, made for small hands, the 32' blade is the way to go for balance.

Bravo sir! You and I appreciate the same things about this particular saber. I have one coming with the same finish, but the amber LED, as I like the more golden hue (and it was a color I did not already have).

I love my Consular too (Light Blue LED)! Thanks for the in-depth review. I'm an unabashed amber fan. It's a "warmer" yellow, almost orange, but I really like it.

I might buy an Amber LED then, with my next sabers. I am not sure what to buy next. I would like to buy two champion edition saber. One for the dark side, something like the fallen, elegant and simple in Red with the Crimson sound board. And One with the Veridian sound board, but i don't know which color to choose. My heart is divided between a phenix/dissident in Green and an Oracle with grey leather wrap in Deep Blue or Medium blue ? ... It is so difficult to choose.
