This is the first saber I have ever owned. Before now I have held nothing other than cheap plastic toys, so I honestly don't know how to review this saber in any way that would do it justice. And because of that I don't think I will even try. I love this thing. It is solid, beautiful, the light and color is amazing, and igniting it feels perfect. Since I don't know really what to say, have some pictures, as I've always been told they are worth lots of words each.









And here are some with me wielding it.

Thanks! I got the robes from Twin Rose Designs(I tried and failed to make my own first, and am honestly glad I did, because these are perfect for me.

You are going to love your yellow. The very first time I lit it up, I did think it looked a touch green, but only I thought so, and I quickly lost it in the yellow. You will be super pleased.

Yeah just due to the differences in power needs between the green and amber dies the green will be more prominent on a full charge. Once it gets closer to empty it will look more orange.

Awesome looking saber! I'm not a particular fan of either the Epoch or Yellow (tend to lean towards Amber and B. Orange), but they look great together and in your hands!

Thanks, I am happy with the combination. I know there doesn't seem to be a lot of love for either (not like hate, but people seem to nothing them), but there should be. I guess we all have to find our own way in the force, though. ;)

The Epoch is a beautifully saber, those emitter windows are just a great detail. I still prefer the previous version though.

Nice pics and congrats on getting your first saber! I do like the 3 window design of the epoch and the yellow reminds me of KOTOR. I may eventually have to get a quick connects yellow LED, but first I need my sabers to arrive. Enjoy!

Thanks all!

I used it this morning at the gym, as part of my daily exercise (It is a apartment gym and nobody else uses it at 5AM) and man was it more fulfilling than the mocked up saber I had been using. *I just use a heavy bag and work swings and spins into my punching/kicking routine.

I like it. Mind you I haven't held a 32" so that could change my opinion. Also, with the Epoch, the blade sits quite deep into the hilt (I mean, it has to get below those windows!).

So, I think for this particular saber 37" is the way to go.

The previous version seems to be preferred by a lot of people. Honestly though, I love the elegance of the current version, and the vertical windows add to that for me. I don't think I would have settled on the Epoch had the old version still been current.

I've got my first saber coming in the mail, I got RGBA with a dule tone hilt so I could use other colors, but yellow is what I plan to have as my main color for it and you prooved how Epoch it looks!

It's quite impressive to see how well the Yellow is coming out. THIS is yellow! All I can achieve with my RGB set up on my Monarch is a gold-ish color, which is not exactly what I want.

Anyway, that's a very nice saber and an amazing review my friend. Congratulations on your purchase, awesome saber ;)!

Is the yellow really bright? I would imagine yellow to be one of the brighter colors but recent forum discussions have me confused

That streamlined look was one of my deciding factors, I want more sabers (of course, don't we all) but I am extremely happy that this was my first one.

Despite it, as the other thread seemed to suggest, maybe not being as noticeably bright as other colors (I don't know because I have only seen mine in person) I think it is still very bright and don't think it would anyone would say otherwise in person.
In fact I used it as a light the other evening as I had nice scotch on my balcony.

Tuckris first off your saber is excellent.
Cmasters, yeah I wasn't to keen on that topic either. Someone with the LED in question, and one to make a comparison, is only trolling the forum. When those topics pop up be sure that you take them for what they are.
