I am excited about all the new releases coming out, as I will be getting another saber at the first of the year. I do wonder if any of the current sabers will be 'retired' (no longer available)? If so, which ones?

As far as I am aware, Phil has no plans to retire any of his current sabers. If anything, he continues to upgrade his designs and improve on existing sabers. I for one hope that saberforge continues to offer all of their existing models in addition to the new ones coming out.

Oh no! The grand master is going to be my first saber. I was waiting to order to see what was happening with the new blade lens but now I'm not so sure. Will you make an announcement when it's close to happening? It is my favorite design and will be my first saber so I don't want to miss it.

If you're worried about missing the grand master, I suggest buying one soon before it gets retired, and then whenever SF comes out with the new blades you can order one of those. It's always good to have an extra blade, in my opinion :) plus then if you ever decide to build your own custom lightsaber hilt, you'll already have a blade ready to go with it.
