Hey,

I'm new here so hey everybody!

I'd like to purchase an sf saber in near future. But I have some questions.

Is it possible for me to switch out the LED s on my own? Sometime I feel more like having a red saber and sometimes I am the Jedi with a blue lightsaber. I guess having 12w instead of 6w is a better option, or will I be satisfied with 6w red + 6w blue? I have a US saber, it allows me to switch out the LED via quick disconnect.

Thank you for the answer and sorry for my english, I'm European.

May the force be with you!

If you check out my thread here[1], I posted about RGB sabers which is a pretty good option.

Thank you so the answer is this
All sabers except Spring loaded crystal reveal sabers can have RGBA color
To get the RGBA, you must buy the Hero level saber
When you order the saber, comment "install RGBA led"
Comes at no additional cost
You can have any color, with RGB that's 16.8 million, may be more with the RGBA
Color can be changed with the micro sd card, or through an on-board editor

But you only have 3w only? Or 4x3w so you can have 4x3w red or blue for 12w brightness or 2x3w blue and 2x3w red for 12w purple? Also your saber comes with micro sd then?

Thank you for the reply

You can request quick connects on your SF sabers.

I think it means is that there are four(presumably 3w) LED lights (Red, Green, Blue and Amber) so if all lights are on, then it's a white as bright as any 12W. But if you want just Red, it's only 3w. I'm not sure how hard it would be to change the bulbs out yourself for higher wattages, but it's probably possible.

MystByte, I'm not entirely sure what you're suggesting. The LED units they use are made from 3w Cree XB-D LEDs. 2 for 6w and 4 for 12w. In Warrior and Champion tier sabers, you have the option to have either a 6w or 12w LED installed. With Hero you get 2 6w Colors which can be used individually or together for a 12w combination of both.

Rouvi said he/she sometimes wants a red saber and other times wants a blue saber. If you purchase a Hero tier saber you could have the simple option of running a 6w red or blue and the option of a 12w Purple/Pink.
Or if you're going Warrior/Champion level, you can order multiple different color LED units and quick connect in your hilt which allows you to switch out the LED unit. with that, you could switch between 12w Blue and 12w Red units.
