ravioli6 OFFLINE New Member Posts: 11	Elite are just sabers that are mostly one piece so to speak while the crystal show the crystal inside the saber like a real saber would have. Some just show the crystal i believe while others have a spring reveal.

Yup, the above posts have it pretty much sorted out

Crystal Sabers have a special chamber built into the hilt that has a "focusing crystal", which within the Star Wars mythos is the heart of the lightsaber and creates the blade. Each Crystal Saber is designed so that the focusing crystal is built to be illumined with the same color as your lightsaber blade. Some of the Crystal Sabers are "reveal" sabers, meaning that the crystal chamber is hidden and can be revealed using a unique spring loaded system, while other crystal sabers simply have the crystal chamber built in to be always visible. Regardless, the crystal sabers are not recommended to be dueled with and are not warrantied for dueling of any kind.

The Elite Sabers are anything you can duel with. Each Elite saber comes in four tiers, Initiate (a display hilt only, no electronics inside, no blade), Warrior (lights and blade), Champion (lights, sounds, and blade), and Hero (three blade colors, five programmable sound fonts, all the bells and whistles).

Posts: 73 Like received: 11	Unless I'm crazy, isn't the descent's crystal only part of the blade plug? It seems like a huge price difference for a crystal chamber that is only present with no blade inserted.

So it kinda makes me wonder why the descent is $200 more than a venom. There could be something I'm missing but the only differences I've seen are the crystal blade plug which (this could be wrong) but somebody said is $75, plus a leather wrap section and brass covertech knob and kill key.

Hehe thanx, I kinda just dived right in!

Yes its a litle odd, the decent, like has been said is essentially modded venom. The diffrence hardly seems to be worth the 200 usd extra for just the hilt...maybe artistic craftsmanshipprices skyrocketed that week, who knows?!

Still.. I want it so bad! Been toying with the Idea to save cash and wait til they accept custom jobs insted. My problem with this is a take so long to make up my mind so figured id join the forum and soak up all useful info I can get.
