Hey, so I'm getting ready to buy my first Saber (Viper, Champion, Weathered, Red), and am already clenching at the thought of Her Majesty's customs charges. How badly should I prepare for the shaft for shipping to the UK? Have other UK fans been subject to customs charges, or are they packaged and sent in a manner that makes it more unlikely? Any and all advice would be appreciated - it's a bitch that to ship from America you gotta deal with these charges left, right and centre. Thanks!

It can be a great country most of the time, but there are some things that irritate me. I think JQ are the only UK suppliers, but they cost so much more, probably because they get bits from the U.S. themselves!

Just waiting on SF to get back to me on how exactly I order a 2 day rush (i'm failing to see an option to fork out the extra 30 dollars in checkout), and then I'm good to order. I'm extremely torn between a Red (or Purple) Weathered Venom or a Red Katana with Hexagonal Tsuba. Any thoughts?

As far as I know, the rush option is still not offered. Towards the end of last year, they had to stop offering it because they were getting a ton of orders. They're still catching up and can't offer the 2-day rush. Their FAQs page says they're not offering it through January, but since it hasn't been updated, I'm assuming they still aren't accepting rushes.

I have a weathered venom and it's very cool. I'm not into red or purple very much but I'd say red.
