What do you guys think about a blood orange blade on a Siths saber? Woth a fallen Jedi want a new saber just because they changed their point of view on the force and the galaxy?

Also, what do you think about hilt colors, Black, weathered or silver? Would a Jedi use a Juggernaut style saber?
The wounded Jedi looks up at the massive man wielding a 6' long light saber! The last words the Jedi hears is "Yes, I am Sith, and oh, so much more"

I know the movies have always used both silver and black in a saber, and in maul's case all silver. However I personally feel the darker the saber the better for a Sith. When I think of black I think of empty feelings, a void, heartless ie. a sith. I feel that red, blood orange, and purple are appropriate sith blade colors. The Juggernaut is based off of what Darth Malgus used, so it IS a sith saber. Hope that helps!

Hi Darth Ttocs,

If I recall correctly, Lord Tyrannus left the Jedi Order and later replaced his Jedi saber with a famous curved Lightsaber and became Count Dooku, so a Fallen Jedi changing his/her hilts isn't unheard of. Even Ahsoka Tano changed the colour of her sabers to reflect the fact she no longer had an affiliation to the Jedi.

I think that Blood Orange and Amber look good on weathered hilts and would place it in the spectrum of colour that a troubled or conflicted warrior may have. (I have seen quite a few descriptions of displaced Jedi with a weathered saber and an Amber blade so a Borderline Sith may display similar traits.)

kind regards,

For Tyeth

Sith colors in my eyes are obviously red, blood orange and pink. Then depending on the saber's design you can justify amber and even deep blue as possible Sith colors. That's just me.

I saw a friend design one in ASP, using a silver finish Juggernaut emitter, and it turned out great; looked more like a badge of office than a sinister weapon, like a royal scepter. I could see a Jedi diplomat using something like that, and totally see them adapting/modifying it after turning sith.

I have a Sith character in SWTOR who wields a purple blade, and I think that totally works.
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

I think the red, blood orange, purple, and indigo SF colors are very Sithy/Darksidey.

I think if you want to be as true to the original with concept, then you cant beat a red saber but honestly I can think of dozens of hilt and saber variations that would great. Heck, maybe your Sith just took it off a Jedi he killed? Have fun with it. Even a white or ice blue blade on a black hilt would work in certain situations,

That being said, most of the blue and green blade variations would be much harder to sell 'Sith'. But just a personal opinion.
