Boyer4,
So I just ordered a Fury with light blue QD 12w led and a few spare led units in yellow white and green. Darn I'm hooked already.
Firstly, Congratulations on your 2nd purchase and with several QDs at your disposal too.
Just got my clarification email on the watts:
"Hello! You will get 2 6W LEDs which each use 2 dies each 6W. The combination comes out to 12W using 4x dies but it is not quite as bright as the 12W+ that can only be offered in solid color applications. We apologize if you were given some mis-information. The 12W is still extremely bright and the difference between the 12W and 12W + is minimal.
Green and blue will make Cyan!
Hope this helps and may the Forge be with you!"
Is this reply from another enquiry you made because the wording appears like a duplicated reply from your first writing?
This information from SFCS contradicts everything I understood as correct and was led to believe by interpretation of the references mentioned previously. My understanding with the differences between watt and watt+ is the LED used. Standard watt= CreeXB-D and watt+=CreeXB-E. This is also written on SF Main Sites FAQ. There's also physical differences to the lens. On further
study, the reply above by SFCS, specific to:

Is correct to a degree. If you're wanting BC1=6w+Blue (B./B.) and BC2=6w+Green (G/G) then BC3=12w+Cyan(B/B/G/G). The 'solid colour applications' is consistent to this. This still suggests though that SFCS's interpretation may still be your 'Blue' & 'Green' are mixed versions i.e. Arctic, Light, Medium etc. and Lime, Mint hence not representative of a 'solid' colour. I also read
this of yours:
I am curious about this too. I was told by customer service they cant do + watts any two color hero tiers. I was told only the single color blades came in + watt but all leds were made brighter than the old ones. So is that RGBA definitely a + watt?
The line (in bold) is IMO accurate. SF
cannot do any colour (i.e. all colour choices available) and is limited to non-mixed colours i.e. Red, Blue, Green, Amber. This applies for the 6/6/12 Setup and not just (or by interpretation for) a single 12+ Hero.
The comment about 12 and 12+ being minimal in difference is subjective. It has been written that the watt+ is 30% brighter and blade more evenly lit. This IMO is relative. Dependent to your personal optical sensitivity, light perception and room size for illumination. IMO Percentages are used for exaggerated perception kind of like 6 versus half a dozen, 12 weeks versus 3 months.
Scenario. $1 Profit increased by 30 cents versus just Profit increased by 30%.
With the room size example. 10 people standing in a circle in a small room with torches switched on. How noticeably more will brightness be by adding another 3 people to the circle?
These are my own conclusions drawn. Albeit, I am not SF or work for SF so to avoid further confusion I'd suggest you accept SFCS's comments as true and accurate. If I get a watt or watt+, it is still hardly enough reason to bother me but that's my case point. Personally, I do not believe I am incorrect but equal to my belief there is possibility that I am wrong.
