Hey guys, soon I will make a order for my lightsaber and I can't decide which color would be the best for my sword... I saw some videos and I realise of that MB and DB are quite similar...

1. Which color is the best for guardian's blue jedi lightsaber?

2. Do you have any comparison between them?

3. I need some pictures due to the images in the web page are quite similar.

I am looking for something like Obi Wan episode I-II-III saber colour... any standard blue color for that?

Most people usually say deepblue/medium blue for the prequel trilogy and arctic blue/light blue for the original trilogy. I don't have any deep or medium blue sabers but I do have a weathered redeemer in arctic blue and can say it is very close to original trilogy blues.

As Gorobulus writes above, this is pretty much the consensus around here. Now reading your Post, you reference Guardian during your quest for screen accuracy. However with trying to remain consistent to accuracy Guardian would be Green rather than Blue? There's also the possibility that you have mistaken a US Guardian for reference and actually mean Avenger.

To satisfy your questions 1&2, I refer you to the link here, where Deep Blue, Medium Blue and ArcticLight Blue are shown in consecutive order.

*I inserted Light Blue centred to separate the possible perceived similarities between Deep Blue (LHS) to Medium Blue (RHS).

To answer your first question, this is completely personal and is influenced with your own perception of colour. With saying that, there isn't anything stopping you with going a completely different colour other than Blue.

I currently have the Deep Blue and Light Blue LEDs...not installed in hilts yet. I have the medium and arctic blue's on order. My hope is at some point I can do a real good comparison where I actually shine them on a wall and post the pics so people can get an idea of the difference. May be a while before I get them all but it is in the works. It is a hard choice because it depends on what you are going for and what hilt it's in. They're all good so far.

I had a hard time deciding between artic blue & medium blue for my Avenger that I ordered. I ultimately went with medium blue because it just seemed to stand out a little more to me than the artic blue and match the prequel movies....i'll be getting it soon so we'll see if i was right

I've got a medium blue in my Acolyte, and its a very close match to the Force FX Anakin ROTS I have if that helps at all.

I mean :
Arctic Blue
Cyan is 2 Blue and 2 Green Dyes right?
Light Blue
Arctic Blue=Rb/Rb/G/G

Deep Blue and Light Blue are the Non-mixed Blues.

Deep Blue=Rb/Rb/Rb/Rb
Light Blue=B/B/B/B
Medium Blue=B/B/Rb/Rb
Cyan=B/B/G/G

You should do that breakout for every SF mix and sticky it in the DIY section ;)

:lol: The Blues were fresh from a recent read plus I've referenced the very same in another Thread before so quick-fire didn't require much Brain.
You should do that breakout for every SF mix and sticky it in the DIY section
That's a good suggestion, 99. I recall there being an existing Thread that lists all the Quad Cree colour combinations that SF uses but I'm too knackered right now to go Thread by Thread/Page by Page (Yes, have been doing that lately) or Search Tab'ing for it. Honestly I'm still a little fuzzy on the additional Colours of Mint Green, Lime Green, Indigo & Frost White (replacing White) that has been amended to the Video Line-up.
