My question is, if i were to want a lightsaber color that looked like this, should I go indigo or purple. Also since this character of mine is a grey jedi/ bounty hunter, do you think purple would be a good color? accompanied with a green lightsaber?

I know I mentioned it in the themed hilt thread when birthstones came up. Mine being June would look like the stone below. I've looked into doing a dual light Crystal Chamber to get this look.

I feel like the purple blade color is more like Windu's saber if that is what you are going after.

However, I personally don't feel purple and green go good together. It reminds me to much of something like this

I feel like a white LED would look super cool for a grey jedi/bounty hunter. A non-affiliated color, but still dangerous. Plus, it goes really well with any main blade color, as well as any saber hilt.

If you aren't a fan of white LED's, then maybe I'd suggest dual wielding two purples.

So naturally they are bound together. I can't comment on what's the best choice between Indigo or Purple, but I'm a fan of the idea of complimentary colors and there universal balance. However, I do prefer Lime over standard Green.

Cool concept. Whilst I can see Omelas' reference of Court Jester or even Barney the Dinosaur, if you're on the lighter side of Grey (if you really want to be fun and jolly) possibly, however personally if on the darker side of Grey, I associate by imagery...

With actual Blade selection, I'd suggest go Purple and use with a Purple Day Blade. Noticeable when off and slightly dims/darkens when on 'resembling closely' to Indigo. An alternate to Green as the secondary, perhaps Amber?
