A while ago, I was intending to make a custom order for a Katana based on Sandai Kitetsu, a weapon used by Roranoa Zoro in One Piece.
However, I really don't have that kind of money to spend on a custom shop saber, and I won't be getting it at least until next summer. So I decided that I could live with the silver (probably, unless you folks think the accented parts should be brass/gold colored). I planned for a hex Imperial Cog and an Indigo blade as a Warrior edition. Still having issues, though. What should I do for wrap? I really want that red color like in the top pic, but in the anime it's more of a brown. I'm leaning towards the red, but even still, should I get a leather wrapped handle, or do the wrapping myself? Much help needed! |
