Ok, so, I gave up on the DIY side of saber building because the community is so polarized. I swear, bringing up certain groups soundboards on the wrong forum was like bringing up religion at an militant atheist convention. Anyway, I have 2 questions about the Bane, and about the Sabercore soundboard, as it is my first saber with sound. Looking to order sometime in the next week.
1. I can picture all the versions of the Bane but one, if anyone has it can someone post the silver handled black shrouded version? For some reason I can wrap my head around all the others but that one. 2. I know Sabercore comes with Viridium or Crimson sound fonts, but I wanted to ask if we could add/replace sound fonts? A friend and I have a funny idea for a skit, and one of the maintenance fonts would be the perfect accompaniment. Thanks in Advance! |

Couple answers for ya!
1 - 2 - No. The Sabercore fonts are permanently flashed with the fonts, and cannot be editted. However, the Spark 2 boards in the hero level sabers come with 6 fully changeable and customizable sound fonts.

Awesome, thanks. Didn't realize my post got put here, I thought the admin had nix'd it for some reason. Pity about the sound, but thats what Iphones and muted sound fonts are for

I should clarify that while the current SaberCore champion soundboards are not customizable, as Knytiri mentioned, SF plans on releasing a new SaberCore 3.0 soundboard for the champion tier by the end of the year which will have at least one fully customizable sound bank. They are building this new SC3.0 soundboard from scratch, and I for one and SUPER excited about it. I plan on using it in all my custom builds going forward once it's released.

Hopefully they can manufacture enough so they can avoid the Nano Biscotti feeding frenzy that happens whenever a new supply hits the market.

I love the black grip with silver accents but the grip almost looks like plastic in the picture. Ideally I'd have the grip weathered with those silver accents.
