I have a Hero Monarch that is having aggravating speaker issues. Can anyone show/explain how to replace the speaker

First a question: Is the saber still under warranty?

Swapping speakers is very easy, but any teardown on the electronics voids the warranty.

In that case, it's a simple matter of sliding your existing electronics out the pommel end of the saber, removing the wrap and then desoldering your speaker and soldering a new one in. The speaker shouldn't have a polarity, so you don't need to worry about a positive or negative on them.

Though, I would recommend putting in your kill key before doing any soldering so that there's no current running through it.

Nope, it's all soldered together. They only do connectors for the LED in a standard saber and LED, switch and RCP in ASP. However, your board, battery, speaker pack is always soldered no matter what you order.
