Sorry, wasn't sure where to ask this!

I think I read on ETSY reviews (of the PS) that occasionally the wrong blade would be sent for the PS (or other thin neck) because I guess the emitter requires a different size? So they had to send it back for the right one etc.

I couldn't find what this width is or any info on it. Does anyone know the difference in width? Thanks!

Blade is the exact same width. The thin neck emitters have a metal "tube" that fits inside the blade in addition to the outer shroud. Because of this the reflective film inside the blade is trimmed up a bit and not glued down. That is the only diference in the blade.

Ahhh I see, that makes sense, thanks!

My main thought process is that one day I may try a diff blade (like VV) to compare brightness with a lighter display - like blade. Didn't know if I'd have to do anything special for blade sizing.

Haha, well hope they send the right one cut! I'm sure it's not as much of an issue anymore.

Just a follow up FYI, that information is in the FAQ as well under the thin neck questions. ;) always worth a glance to see if your question is in there... after all. I've spent a lot of time working on it and keeping it updated. :)

CRAP you're totally right. I usually look and actually did this time too, but looking over again now I see that info is under the question "Are thin-neck sabers duel-ready?" and I just didn't think that info would be there since I was just thinking size lol. Thanks.

Truth. I'll prolly update it and add it into it's own question for more clarity. Just wanted to point it out in general that it had lots of info in it when you read through it lol. :)

No its seriously awesome and a GREAT idea! There's tons of info and I would probably have twice as many posts if not for it heh. Its actually helped me answer questions for others on here and FB, and I don't even have a SF saber yet (coming soon!)

Its a lot of work appreciated!
