I'll go first to start it up:
1. Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic series (spent countless hours trying to finish this game as a kid, also I value it's high replay value) I still play this game on the original xbox to this day, also this was the first Star Wars game I played on my own.
2. Star Wars Republic Commando (excellent first-person shooter with graphics ahead of its time. I still play this bad boy, great story that lets players go in-depth of a clone's life during the war)
3. Star Wars Force Unleashed (plain and simple: Galen Marek is a badass)
4. Star wars Jedi Knight: Jedi academy and outcast series. (Lots of fun and stories were great, also lots of great hilt designs in Jedi academy, SF should take a peek at the them, lots of inspiration in there)
5. Star Wars Battlefront series, including the games made for the psp. (who doesn't like to spend countless hours kicking your friend's ass on Galactic conquest? Sort of felt like playing chess but in space, with blasters.) I wait for the release of the new battlefront

1 - KOTOR 1 / 2 .... cause. BIOWARE. IN STAR WARS. Bioware is my favorite game company.. I also cannot get enough of Mass Effect or Dragon Age. Also really enjoyed Jade Empire back in the day...

2 - SWTOR .... cause... BIOWARE. IN STAR WARS. No seriously, I actually really enjoy Bioware, mmkay?

3 - The old X-Wing / TIE flight simulator game. I hardly remember it anymore, but I know I spent endless hours on that thing. lol

4 - Force Unleashed 1 / 2... it's hard to not enjoy the simple OPness that was Starkiller.

5 - Republic Commando. Also loved that shooter. Spent MANY hours replaying that one over and over.

1. All of the Star Wars space combat sims, especially X-Wing Vs. Tie, as that brought multi-player capability to the game. For me, this is where LAN parties started.

2. All of the Star Wars first person shooters, 'cause they were like Doom but STAR WARS!

3. Rogue Squadron 3-D, because even though you were kind of flying on rails, there was an arcade feel to the game that I found appealing and fun.

4. Star Wars The Old Republic, which I am still playing with friends who live in Washington State, while I live in California. Long distance hero stuff!

5. The oldest Star Wars game I can think of, and I don't even know the proper name of, was an arcade game back in the late 70s/early 80s. You got to fly the Death Star Trench Run years before you could play it on your computer screen! Besides being one of the first Star Wars games PERIOD, it was kind of a fake cockpit, with various controls for maneuvering, and weapons control. The graphics were horrible, but it was as close as a kid of that era was going to get to living the Star Wars dream! I don't have to tell you that I pumped a small fortune in quarters into that puppy over that particular summer!
Imagine what you will know tomorrow....

In no particular order.

1. Super Star Wars: ANH, ESB, ROTJ
Because it was the first ones really when I was 11 on the SNES.

2. Star Wars: Dark Forces I, II and Mysteries of the Sith
Some of the first online, multiplayer games I ever played in the star wars universe. Never played a lot of computer games and prefer console gaming.

3. Rogue Squadron 64
Resonates as a classic in my memories.

4. The Masters of Teras Kasi.
I love fighting games and it was a good attempt for those days but I do give more credit than it deserves, a fairly terrible game and needed a lot of polishing. I love the concept though and can probably be done really well now.

5. Knights of the Old Republic.
Great story, character development and story arch based on the development of your character and found it fun to play, with a great twist in the story at the end.

Great question! Thought provoking... Okay so I think it would go like this:

1. KOTOR 1 & 2 - No real explanation needed. In fact I was a PS guy but converted to XBOX because PS was not going to be carrying the titles...

2. SWTOR - I love Star Wars and I love the art of story telling... perfect mix for me

3. SWG - I was pre and post NGE so I'll take'em both. My character was in the village when the NGE hit. I was 1 week away from unlocking my JEDI. Then of course there was JTL!!

4. Jedi Knight series - Story

5. TFU 1&2 - Story
"Destiny is a lie. Fate is the falsest of hopes. I am beyond prophecy. I forge my own path by making the difficult choices..."

I haven't played many, but this is how I rank the ones I have:

The Old Republic - While I'm not that far (only level 20 on a free account) I've always had tons of fun in RPGs and this is no exception!

Jedi Academy - Took everything that made the original Jedi Knight awesome, used way better graphics and added even more saber styles, hilts and combat!

Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight - The first Star Wars video game I played. The ability to modify this game is nothing short of astounding. So many creative mods, creative levels and models given the limits this game had for its age. The story was pretty awesome too. So awesome!

Jedi Outcast - This one was a lot of fun, especially with Realistic Saber Combat turned on, but something seemed a bit out of place compared to Jedi Knight. While there were quite a few mods there didn't seem to be nearly as many as Jedi Academy and Jedi Knight. This one holds a special place for me as I did a lot of mod/model/texture building in my youth here and helped test a few of the popular levels that were developed by the community.

Rogue Squadron - I loved flying the different ships as they all handled differently. I had the PC version so I got the patch from some of the bonus ships and I had a good time with it.

Well, those are the ones I played.

Brax, I also spent a boatload of quarters on that arcade game as a kid in the 80s.

You can't think of a name for it, because it didn't have a subtitle, or unusual name. It was just called "Star Wars"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_(1983_video_game)

Also... I purchased Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike on the Gamecube mostly due to the fact that there was a bonus you could unlock of the original Star Wars arcade game. I spent more time playing the 1983 vector based graphics arcade game than the modern rogue squadron gameplay on that disc.

My Top 5

1. X-Wing / TIE Fighter series (PC)
This games control scheme and ideas about power consumption within a Star Wars universe starfighter were so great, that authors of the Rogue Squadron books just outright used this game's systems within their narrative. Switching your shields to double front, diverting power from your engines to bring your depleted shields back up, and altering your X-Wings laser fire from dual to a full quad burst are all wonderful possibilities within this game that fully engross you within the Star Wars universe.

2. Knights of the Old Republic (Xbox)
I'm fairly certain no explanation is necessary here.

3. Shadows of the Empire (N64)
An awesome early 3d shooter / exploration game where you play as Dash Rendar (pretty much a Han Solo character... he even flies a YT Transport, but it's a YT-2400, not a YT-1300 like the Falcon)

Also... my friends and I were playing this recently and encountered a hilarious glitch. If you'd like to see it, go here:

4. The Force Unleashed (PS3) / Jedi Knight II and III (PC)
Okay... so I cheated, and combined multiple games. That's because, the main reason I love both of these games is the feeling of power you get when you use the force abilities. There's just nothing like Force jumping above a group of stormtroopers, then Force Pulling them into the upper atmosphere, and watching them hurl up into the sky only to come falling back down to the ground as you laugh with delight. ;)

5. Super Star Wars series (SNES)
Mostly a nostalgia factor, but I played these games over and over as a kid.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
--Star Wars (1983 Arcade Game) - Totally love this one, but I think the X-Wing and TIE Fighter series do pretty much the exact same thing, but better

--Star Wars Rebel Assault (PC) - Again, lots of fun starfighter flight and combat action, but you are on rails and therefore X-Wing and TIE Fighter beat it out, even though Rebel Assault was prettier.

--Episode 1 Racer - pod racing game that was a lot of fun. I think it mostly doesn't make the list because it's related to Episode I. :P

Oh man don't get me started on that. The time I spent first disarming the troopers, then Force Throwing off of cliffs or, as you said, Force Jumping over top then Pulling up to me.

Not to mention getting a maxed out Grip, clutching a reborn and slamming him into walls until he collapses.

Makes me want to play Outcast all over again. Wish I still had my Academy disc, but I lent it to a family member and never got it back...

This is tough, but here goes:

1&2. Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, can't decide a which I like more. Revan might give 1 the edge over 2.

3. Rogue Squadron N64, so many memories playing that game for hours. It was also very addicting.

4. Shadows of the Empire N64, again the nostalgia plays a huge part in this one. Again, very addicting.

5. The Force Unleashed. The second one had updated graphics and better game mechanics, but the story of the first was so great and Galen/Starkiller was such a cool character.

It's so hard to pick just 5...
Fallen 12W Purple/12W+ Red
Epoch 6W Cyan
Reborn 12W+ Indigo DT
Next Order: Parks/Korbanth Graflex 2.0

KOTOR was great with Revan, but KOTOR 2 had a better expansion and overall a different feel to the game, like it was way darker and serious tone. I like 2 better in terms of gameplay, and customization. There were awhole bunch of lightsaber options to choose from in the game, I always went with orange or bronze. The different equipment was way more selective, especially the robes, the Jedi Master robes were very hard to get, I only got them once.

In case you don't get the disc back:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/6020/

1. Like everyone else Knights of the Old Republic was fantastic. Amazing story and great gameplay and of course the sequel...

2. Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords took it's predecessors story telling and mechanics and took it to another level. And now with the restored content available, it's like a whole new game!

3. The Old Republic. While we didn't get a Kotor 3, this is the next great thing. I was hooked by the beta and fell in love with that classic story telling. I could never keep up with the content though so I stopped playing and ended my subscription. The F2P format isn't nice to non subs so if I get back into it, I'll have to resub lol.

4. Jedi Outcast. My dad got me into this game and I enjoyed Kyle Katarn's adventures and story after RotJ. The sequal was good as well and I wish they could've continued this series.

5. Star Wars: Battlefront. I know it's not out yet but this looks like it could be the beginning of a legacy of new star wars games on next gen graphics. The gameplay at E3 sold me and I'm looking forward to what DICE has in store for us. Been waiting 10 years for another battlefront game!

You're definitely right about all that. KotOR II was definitely a great game that added onto what the first game already made great. I guess the only thing about that game I didn't like was the lack of closure at the very end. To me it felt like the story, while complete in terms of the game, wasn't really over. Had KotOR III been made not long after, and had it continued with either Revan or the Exile's story beyond the events of the first two games, it would have probably felt more satisfying to me.

I know SWTOR: Revan and the SWTOR game basically continue the story, but it never really felt the same. I liked the book, but I never really got into SWTOR enough I guess. I have the game installed, but I discontinued my subscription long ago and haven't played it in ages (mostly because my computer is now old and barely working lol).

All that being said, you could say I have a bias towards Revan. He's my favorite character in all of SW Lore, new canon and legends/EU combined, afterall :P .

1. SWTOR

Ah ah ah!! Kidding.

1. KOTOR 1: reasons are the same than the obvious stated above. Though I liked KOTOR 2, it lacked some cool stuff from the 1st, not in features but in story telling. The main quest was far from being as good as in KOTOR 1, the graphics had not evolved much, and there no real new Force powers or capabilities. KOTOR 1 however, I remember playing it and thinking: I must finish this quick else I won't be able to study and pass my exams. Good times! I actually bought it again recently on Steam. Having lots of fun with it. I particularly like the step by step fall to the dark side or going up the light side.

2. Jedi Academy I & II: Loved the story, loved the quests, loved to jump all over, push troopers around, etc ... Grabbing people by the throat and letting them fall into lava was so much fun! (we sound like psychopaths, you do realise that people?). Interesting stories, seeing Luke Skywalker older was pretty fun as well, and the lightsabers throw to cut down trees or people was fun as well.

3. SWTOR: I love RPGs and MMOs and Star Wars, anything that combines at least two of those is usually a hit for me. Liked the richness of the story missions based on your choices and how you want to go around completing quests. LOVE the storytelling, the ability to develop actual relationships with your crew and all. That is super fun!

4. Star Wars : Battlefront II. How many hours have I spent on Kamino headshooting droids? Don't know, probably won't ever know, surely do not need nor want to know (too many hours, I probably could have gotten a PhD instead of playing).

5. No actual fifth game, I played Jedi Outcast, but not enough to get a real feeling off of it nor have any actual opinion of it. I am however REALLY LOOKING FORWARD to the new Battlefront. It looks amazing, promises tons of features and thousands of hours of fun either on solo ops or multiplayer missions. I like the fact they're bringing back the "Hero" feature, giving a Jedi or Sith to a random player on the map.

All in all, I liked every Star Wars game I played, and I particularly liked anything involving Revan. That guy probably could get rid of Yoda in a finger snap and would have gotten rid of Palpatine quite easily I think. I love this character and wish we had seen more of him in other games or the EU.

A few weeks ago, I was over in Ocean City, NJ with some friends for a day trip. We were there mostly for mini-golf and pinball, but one of the arcades had the new Star Wars BattlePod arcade game. Needless to say, I played it a few times and spent several dollars on it.

Overall, the experience was a lot of fun, but I don't see it as the type of game you can play over and over. There are 5 or 6 missions (don't remember) that are key events from the original trilogy. (i.e. ANH Death Star Trench Run, ESB Battle of Hoth, RotJ Endor Forest, RotJ Death Star II, and 1 or 2 others that I didn't play and don't remember.)

I played both Death Star battles and the Hoth Snowspeeder missions. I also watched a friend play the speeder bike mission on the forest moon of Endor.

All of the missions are packed with lots of exciting visuals and action. For instance, the battle of Hoth does more than just send you past AT-ATs and AT-STs. They added in waves of TIE fighters attacking the Rebel Transports that you need to help defend and end up flying past, over, and under at times. This game has a full field of view and gorgeous visuals and your mind may get tricked slightly into feeling the motion at times, but it isn't on hydraulics or anything, because that would significantly increase the manufacturing costs I'm sure. IF it had been put on a hydraulic platform to give you a true sense of motion, it would be 1,000 times better. As it is, it's quite fun, but not as impressive as I expected it to be.

As you would expect, all of the missions are an "on-rails" flight path that you can only slightly alter with brakes, speed boosts, or slight variations of direction. Mostly your objective is to target the enemies that continue to fly into your forward firing arc and blast them out of the sky.

The arcade where we found it had it set to $2 per play and $1 per continue. Unfortunately, there was usually a line of people waiting, so it would be kind of a jerk move to continue on to another mission. I had too much fun while playing to accurately figure out how long each mission lasts, but I would guess it was around 3 to 5 minutes per mission.

Looks the majority, love the KOTOR series, and who can blame them? Its an awesome game? I actually think KOTOR made game of the year back in 2003
