Hey guys and gals,
Yesterday I received my Ka'Tano with Yellow LED module and even though I'm very happy about the hilt the colour seems to be a bit off and I wanted to see if this was normal. I can't really put it in a picture (cursed digital cameras can't get the correct colours) but the problem is this: when I ignite my saber the colour near the hilt is yellow-greenish, in the middle of the blade it's yellow and the last third of the blade it's closer to orange. I know the yellow module is made up of amber and green LED's so this might be the reason of the issue. Anyways, will probably order a new LED module (different colour) and would like to know if this is a recurrent issue with module's that have different colours. |

What was your led wattage? Check out FAQ's thread. Explains the 12w & 12w+ led cree's. How they are different and how the 12w+ dyes are closer and focus the light better. cost alittle more but this is just a guess as to what your problem may be.

I got a standard 12W LED module as I don't think they have the 12W+ model on Etsy.
Might have to wait for the + module indeed. |

If it still seems off, I would contact customer service for some troubleshooting. Since you just received it, you can send it back under warranty (if feasible, I see you are located overseas). Also, 12W+ can be requested via Etsy. - Order the LED - Send 25 dollars to This email address is being protected from spambots.
