Don't worry I think I'm getting better, instead of a big dark blur, I can see a big bright blur.

True but I liked the tip on securing the threads. Also it looked a bit tribal and made me wonder what other staffs would look like. I think the Reborn hilt with the spines along it give it a solid look. What colour would you chose for a staff? Is it red like you mentioned elsewhere? A weathered red staff hmm.

Hmmmmmmmmm I think i'd go deep blue for a spear and green and cyan for a staff I like color combos when spinning

Good complimentary colours, but I forgot to ask what colour your friend's Acolyte was. A lot of spears I have seen on the net were yellow or amber, carried by the Sentinels.
