My girlfriend and I are coming up on our 3 year anniversary, and she has been mentioning lately she wants to decorate our home with lightsabers. she was thinking regular copies of movie ones, but then i suggested we get our very own sabers. she loved the idea, and now we have 2 ordered.
Hers is a weathered Consular w/ 37" Indigo, and mine is a Disciple w/ 26" Amber and 4x spear extensions w/ brown leather wrap. we also added on the 12W+ upgrades and blade tips. we are beyond excited, despite the long wait. if anyone has either of these exact saber combos, i'd love to see some pics to get a better idea of what we have coming. thanks! |

Anniversary sabers! Great idea!
The Disciple, and the Consular are both fantastic sabers. They might be of less complex design than the Elite series, but they have every bit as much appeal both visually and stylistically. In fact, I will be ordering a Consular for my wife very soon, so I mean what I say! As for examples, I am sure the folks around here will be happy to show you the fantastic sabers they have purchased in this thread, but it might take some time for them to come around and do so. If you crave a bit more immediate gratification, just head to the "Review" section of the forum, select specific thread for the model saber you want to see, and you will likely find multiple reviews of those sabers, complete with detailed descriptions, and multiple photos. Congrats on the purchase, and we all look forward to seeing your reviews of your sabers appear there once you receive them! |

It's Blood Orange. I almost went with Amber. Hard to choose LED color. Look forward to see your purchase. Your staff extentions, are they wrapped?

they certainly are, same brown leather as the disciple. if i use all 4, the total length including blade will be over 6 feet. im excited.
does this make it technically a pike, naginata, or spear? i think naginatas are shorter, yes? |
