I'm referring to Satine Dutchess of Mandalore, who befriended Amidala and Kenobi. I was trying to show he had feelings for Satine, so may have had a relationship with somebody else later (and didn't see) between ROTS and ANH.

Hmm, I though Anakin was birthed 'through the Force' a'la Jesus.
I do support the theory that he definitely could've started a family on Tattoine seeing as the Jedi Order, and therefore the strict code he lived by, was essentially null at that point. |

I don't intend to go too far off in the long weeds, but there is a theory that Plagueis actually created Anakin through his ability to manipulate midichlorians, because he foresaw the downfall of the Jedi in the creation of a boy who had a record breaking about of midichlorians in him. That's my Anakin theory.
But back to Kenobi. I still really doubt that he would ever have a family. I don't have a theory on why, I just feel that it is out of character for him. |

Depending on your interpretation, Anakin was conceived through the Force as a means to balance itself after the cataclysmic Dark Side shift caused by Plagueis and Sidious. Not sure how the novel fits into Canon at this point though.

Well I can't take all the credit for this theory, but when I thought about it further and made these connections it did make sense (to me anyway!).
But then other people bring up brain washing and mind tricks so anything is possible! For Tyeth EDIT: To, Eddlyss64, I'm just basing the possibility after Order 66 and the events meaning the Jedi had to keep hidden, Kenobi may have had a family to aid his concealment. Then everything else takes place in ANH and what we know. |

I've heard the Plagueis theory that he created Anakin as well. The only reason I don't think it's plausible is it just seems like too much of a stretch even for Star Wars. Plagueis is known for his extremely long term planning though.

I too have read the Plagueis Theory, and an explanation remains to be seen but for now I'll have to leave the discussion.
