I spoke too soon! My Venom was given to USPS today and I just received the tracking update.
If all goes well I'll have 4 sabers in one week! Two Force FX ones just for fun and my two Saberforges, a venom and a Vengeance. Super excited. Of course both my USPS orders say delayed so I could be waiting a little bit for the SaberForges. |

IT'S COMING! Ordered a Light Blue/Green Hero Exhalted off of Etsy on Sept. 24th, entered the build queue on Nov. 7th, and as of yesterday it is in USPS's hands and should be here on Friday!

Will USPS attempt delivery more than once? My lightsaber is out for delivery and I won't be home for like 7 hours and I don't want to miss it

They'll leave a slip if they miss you, but you can go to usps.com/redelivery and fill in the info and either have it redelivered on a day of your choosing or have it held for pickup at the post office.

Usually you can't pick it up until the next day because a lot of mail trucks don't make it back before the front area closes. You can submit a redelivery or hold request until 2am CST of the day you want it held/redelivered.

Hi folks!
My saber arrived today! I stayed home and waited for our mailwoman during her normal delivery hours. Tested it, spun it around – I was like my ten-year-old self when I first saw Episode IV. I can't wait to see the look on my five-year-old's eyes when I give her gift to her later. Guys (and girls), the wait is WORTH IT. |

Seems like a few people who ordered around the same time as me have started receiving their sabers or have started receiving official shipping notices, to which I say CONGRATS!!!
I know there's a process so I'm definitely not complaining at all, but I'm really hoping I receive the good news soon. I ordered on Sept. 22nd, the shipping label was created on Nov. 4th and received by USPS on the 7th, and marked as "shipped" on Etsy on Nov. 21st. I'm in week 11, and I definitely can't take the saber to the SW:TFA premiere anymore due to the horrible attack/shooting in the area last Wednesday, but I cannot wait to receive my saber so I can show it off. |

Ha, saber heaven.
Are the fx's worth getting? I've seen plenty mixed reviews but kinda wouldn't mind paying if they're quality. On the other hand, it'd be halfway to a new SF hilt once the problems around my (hopefully imminent) Descent are ironed out. 16 weeks and counting. To top it off I got mauled while playing with the cat last night. Spent all day in A+E getting blood tests and xrays, now I'm in a sling so just my luck if the thing decides to show soon.

A big factor in buying the Force FX lightsabers for me was because target was doing a buy one get one half off so I got Darth Vader and Kylo Ren. I received the Darth Vader yesterday. It's nice, but built with a lot of plastic and the blade on mine was a little screwy. They are also subject to flaws in the machining of the hilt. Scuff marks, warped plastic... Mine was at least. My Kylo Ren comes on Thurs. so we will see how that one is, I heard it's actually pretty high quality compared to the others! If you find them for cheaper than retail I say go for it, they're cool to have and I don't regret buying them. But I know the SaberForges I will soon be receiving are of a much higher quality. |
