I don't have my Saber in but I do have "a" warrior saber at my place. Through my experience it's a solid color while charging. "Red" and when fully charged will be green. I have not watched it reach a full charge so I can't say that it flashes once fully charged.

So if it just blinks red does that mean something is wrong with the battery?

Blinking red means it's charging. It turns solid green eventually. When I got my battery I had to leave it on the charger like... all day and all night before it stopped flashing.

I have two batteries, one of which stays solid red and then goes green, and the second which blinks red for a few hours before finally going solid red and then green. I have no idea why there's a difference. =/ makes me wish warriors had recharge ports lol

My saber has been hooked up to charge for a couple of hours now - the charger color is orange.

I've heard people mention red and green, but not orange. Is this fine, or is this a defective charger thats not charging properly?

Though not saber related, I have a Trustfire charger I use for the 18650 batteries I use in my e-cig (which are similar to the ones SF uses, just a lower mah rate, I believe), and it often shows an orange light when a battery is weakened, but not fully drained. So it may just be something that happens on a certain make/model of charger.

Definitely check to see if your outlet is the problem here. Sometimes hit helps to change outlets. If not send an email to The Forge explaining your problem. Hopefully your situation gets cleared up! ;)

Hello,

I am new to the forum, and have read all required New Member posts. I got a Warrior teir Epoch, and after about an hour of use, the light shut off, so I figured it needed to be charged. I plugged the charger in with the battery, and encountered 2 problems:
1. The charger is extremely sensitive. I need to be pressing it into the outlet in order for the light to turn on. As soon as I let go, it moves ever so slightly, and the light turns off.
2. The light is solid green. From what Ive read, that isnt normal.

Help?

Thanks :)

Nightwing, Welcome to the Forum and Congratulations with your Epoch. In due course, I encourage you to Post a Review in the Review Section and share the love. One Rule: Pictures or it didn't happen. ;)

With no In-Hilt Recharge Port, first troubleshoot I would suggest is ensuring the +/-'s are correctly lined-up from the battery to the actual Charger. If it still 'pops' out with little/no movement, to save you physically holding it down to initiate Charge, have you tried using a strip of Velcro or tape to keep Battery in place? If you don't want to go messing with it primitively, the recommended action is to send an Email to Customer Service (if you haven't already) where they will advise the best method to resolve the issue you're having. Allow up to 3 days for a response however in all likelihood, the reply will come sooner.

Your second query, my understanding is (and as written within the pages of the Forum) is Red=charging, Green=Charged and good-to-Go. If you are experiencing a solid Green lit-Charger LED, this appears consistent as once plugged in (without battery) it registers as good-to-go. With Battery in, it may still be Green as the Battery is Charged or because of the loose connection, it doesn't register the battery in place.

The matter may be as simple as a Faulty Charger or something entirely different. Wait for the response from Customer Service as further speculation is unnecessary. Kindly report back with the identified error and resolution supplied. :)

Yup, static Red or blinking (flashing) red=charging. With your Warrior (Chosen) it has been known to take up to 24hrs (or greater) to complete the first charge. If your supplied charger is similar to below, ensure the battery is inserted/seated vertically level with good contact on the positive/negative connectors. With reference from a Post taken below..

The battery is good, but the charger is a bit flimsy. The battery will fit slightly off center and the charger will still act like its charging, and can give a false full battery light.

In common case, this is right. But it is not for every case. When I use 400w power inverter to charge camera battery, it is the same with you. When you charging, the light is red, the end of charging is green. You can connect it with car cigarette lighter charger outlet to charge tools. Now you can search bestekmall on Google to follow its guide. Best regards.
